Rubberman has IMO been one of our best defenders and has worked seriously hard for the team since signing. Yesterday he was up against the best team at this level for the last number of years and as a team Michelin were well beaten. It can't be easy under wave after wave of pressure against the quality Carniny have and it certainly isn't a reflection on his overall ability to do well in there. We lost as a team yesterday. I have every faith in Rubberman having seen him battle brilliantly for this club since signing in pre season. Well said Fishy. In the previous 2 games Rubberman was our best player in both games playing as centre half. Plenty of us made mistakes yesterday and we were punished for them agaisnt a very good team. Bar maybe 15/20 minutes yesterday our midfield and defence were under constant pressure from you lads, its tough work, especially with Mo on one wing, Roger on the other wing, and men constantly breaking through the middle. Things were super when we went on the great wee run at the start of the season, now he have to take the rough with the smooth. Rubberdome is one of the biggest characters in the squad and Ive no doubt he'll be back to his best next week. He was good enough against us in your last game but Tommy, Sammy and Wigsy were all better |

fook me dowie i only gave what i got  mo and gracie both shoulda walked for kicking me off the ball had a stinker yesterday but hey ho so what!!!!!!!!im just there to enjoy it................ thought carniny were super yesterday, movement was superb,by far the most creative team we`ve played this year,tho i do believe they can be out battled,something that i believe saints and homers will do.................. gracies second was some finish |

Mo kicked you??? haha mo wouldn't kick a bag out of the road never mind a player. To be fair you were up against a very good player in gracey, not many could cope with him.

To be fair Dowie I did see mo kick out in 2nd half after the ball had gone. Cant mind if it was rubberdome or Tully he kicked though, though im sure it was a wee bit of frustration due to a couple fouls on him. Anyway, it wasnt as if they any tackles on saturday were bad nor dangerous, just the occasional wee kick out/ handbags. |

In no way was this game a dirty game, there was no rash tackles or anything like that incase any1 is reading into this a bit more, just from wat i seen i thought rubberman should have went but a few players should have went by the sounds of it :-)
