Just what we like being ruled out of it already lol gonna be hard for us i know, but with the performance we gave yesterday winning 1st half and battling and defending in 2nd half if we play like that against any1 we will do ok

As far as im aware against Castlewellan we were missing a good number of players that day, i was away so not sure how many. Certain we had no defence as Harty was at CB.
The general feeling was that if we'd had more of our first 11 there that we could have taken them. Don't think they'd be much of a problem to Carniny.

Not a great team imo. We had half a team out against them and played very poor. Although one of their players did say to me that they too were missing a number of players that day. Would fancy Carniny or Homers to overcome them without too many problems. |

I'm pretty sure carniny beat these boys a few years back in the shield down at wakehurst, think it was 5th or 6th round, the year they made the semi's in both junior comps.

They have a fella plays upfront who is pretty handy, bit of a silver fox and looks about 40 but is very quick.

Basement will try and intimidate but are not even a good 2c team, this is their 2nd season in amateur league nothing to fear there. Ballynahinch oly did beat ballymoney yesterday and had a good run in it last year getting to the semis.

When you reach the last 8 of a tournament that started with about 200 teams I reckon all remaining teams will fancy their chances,all good sides, its all about putting in a good performance now - if you don't you wont get away with it as you may have done in earlier rounds |

Semi final draw
Harryville homers v basement ym (Tuesday 20th march possibly at ballyclare)
Carniny rangers v valley rangers (Wednesday 21st march possibly at ballyskeagh)
Venues and dates aren't definite but that is the possible arrangements
