Was really impressed with Clough today, play some lovely football and work hard for each other too. Really young squad you have there too. Youse have a very solid defence and neat midfield, just looks as if your lacking another option up front, id say Ally's injury up front is a massive loss for you. Kyle mcRoberts was superb he could easily play for any of the top 3 teams in the league, from what i seen in the first half I though he contolled things for Clough. Really hard fought win for ASOB,had to work hard for the 3 points, as somebody already mentioned tully was very good breaking things up. Have to say as well, although he didn't have many saves to pull off, I though Brian Martin was terrific , really dominated his box when he had too, ASOB are lucky to have him. On Clough, if they can get another goalscorer I cant see why they can't get 4th spot. Kyle McRoberts is different class, ran the midfield today. Also agree on the point about the goalkeeper, very quick off his line. Disappointed we never got anything from the game today after the effort we put in. |

Hard game today but we expected nothing less from Clough. Again we did't start well and could of been behind from one of Jordys efforts but we battled away and got in front and then Andy B got the badly needed second from an amazing cross  For all the good play Clough had in the middle of the park i thought we were quite comfortable as a back 4. I just heard the quote of the day when Specs and Norty had a wee tussle, Specs says ''if i did't have a dead leg i would knock you clean out'' absolutely brilliant |

On the game, fair play to the Clough Provo's ( ;D), they started brighter and were really up for it...couple of super efforts off the woodwork but apart from that, I agree with Pele, Saints back 4 pretty comfortable.
Second half was more comfortable for Saints although Clough finished strong again.
Think Stevie Morgan made a massive difference when he came on.
Fair result IMO but Clough definitely a good side!!!!

I really do believe we're a striker of a top top side. Our defence is top notch, our midfield can control a game but we just need someone to make a goal out of nothing. I know it's one of the hardest things to find but I think if we got that we'd be a very good outfit!

Not having a go at the team in any way, was just meaning that I think there's a gap between the top 3 sides in the league and the rest and that if we had a striker like that we'd maybe bridge that gap.
