Nope Chris, the seconds have been entered into this years junior shield and the first team are in the junior cup...now that they're out of the cup they may field a stronger line-up in the shield from now on though. Lol, nearly the same time. They are out of both though. Good man, didnt realise the 2nd's were out also

Used to play but has wrecked his ankle & is helping out with the running of it now. He was telling me the game v ballysillan was a dirty one & for some reason the woodvale lads seemed intimidated. Possibly a path emerging for Carniny in the Junior Cup now. Still a few good teams but if you can get good home draws I don't see why not. Bsml teams have already beat some of the best teams in the country in Shield/Cup.

Forgot nothing. Homers are one of the bsml teams who beat one of the best junior teams in the country which i referred too. I was only talking about the junior cup though & i believe its only carniny & northend left in it. Despite some great results esp against tullygalley i dont see northend winning it which is why i mentioned carniny.

If carniny have to go to dunfane they will walk away with an easy win...that's no disrespect to use as use are a big strong side but carniny would tank use home or away...just my opinion.

definatly the hardest draw we could of got in my eyes unbeaten all year going by nifootball, beaten in the shield final and cup semi's by the smallest of margins and beat the mac 3-1 in the cochrane&corry final last year also but we believe and on the day anything can happen so lets be having ye................

Tough enough game for carniny too but know a few Plunkett boys and they say they are nowhere near as strong as they have been in recent years

St Pats is prob the hardest draw out there. Id say them & carniny could be the best teams left. Carniny imo should be comfortable. We played a double friendly against Plunkett & our 2nds won 2-0 & 1sts won 3-0. Ye could see there was talent in their team but i dont think ive ever saw a team do more mouthing at each other & the ref. Dont know what sort of team they had out either but on the evidence i saw that day Carniny will be moving on.

I was talking to my mate from Woodvale & he was saying there was 400 people at their game in Strabane. Some turnout for a junior match. Had a word about St Pats too & he was saying they're not as good this year. Apparently there was a big fallout & a few players left. He was saying they're 5 from 5 in the league but their fixtures have been very kind. Had a look on ni football & it looks like 4 of their 5 wins came against teams in the bottom 5 of the league.

Tasty draw for us, glad we are at home.

St Pats have lost a few players with Michael Collins being 1, he went to Malachians in the summer but defo a tough tie for North End but a gr8 fixture for the lads.

Wouldnt be so sure about st pats and carniny being the best teams left in the comp...bessbrook (last years beaten finalists), windmill stars and st marys are all more than capable of winning it this year also...my money is still on carniny though. Would be great to see northend pull off a major scalp also in beating st pats.

Know nothing about St Mary's but apparently they are a good outfit. Lisbellaw I think have been kicked out, so another big hitter gone.
Havent seen Liverpool SC since they got back on their feet but would be worth a watchin too

Havent seen Liverpool SC since they got back on their feet but would be worth a watchin too St Marys would have a few good ex irish league players. I work with Harry Fays son & he was playing for them but moved to Belfast & is playing for DC now. They should be playing at a higher level but cant due to facilities. They play on a schools gaa pitch.
