1st league game tomara nite v holywell at home . this will b a tough opener for us . holywell had great start on sat ...
few wee knocks took from yesdays game ... hope they recover in time ...

Thistle 2 - 0 Hollywell Doik 2 Was a shocking match to watch, both sides were poor to be honest Very hard to play in the wind at our pitch, first half we were against the wind and took a while to get going, had a bagful of chances that weren't taken and defended well. Second half we came out and were very patient and deserved our 2 goals, should have been a lot more but Holywell definitely improved on last year and imo will do very well this year. Good luck lads |

Yea conditions didnt help at all, thistle kicked on in last 20 mins and should of scored much more, deserved win and first points on the board.  Hope doiks ankle injury isnt serious |

good win lads .... v rusty in front of goal atm . we battled hard . wind was hard to play in for both teams . . holywell are a good side , no team will get it easy against them ... junior, we marked ian scott well and kept him quiet glad we are on a break to next wed  |
