I actually ran into Sammy in Turkey a few weeks back and he was saying he was thinking of not playing at all this season.

Also, I though Tommy McCullough had his best game in a Michelin shirt since I've been there...tortured them all day. totally agree fish thought he was awesome today,but everyone played well and all the talk of misses and off sides shows hoe the game went...............we controlled it |

True Rubberman. Ballykeel seem to be trying to divert from their performance by blaming the ref. I think the only shots they got on target were their goals. Anything else were long range efforts. Game should have been over at half time when it was 11 v 11

First off super performance from all the Michelin lads, great win to start of the season against a top a top 4 team (allbeit missing a couple of players). Brian was giving some silly decisions for both teams yesterday which were frustrating both teams and think thats what resulted in both sending offs. For us, Housty was caught offside at least 15 times yesterday and on at least 3 occassions he was actually onside  First pen for us was a cert and second to me looke da like a pen too. What got me was Justy Rowe who gave away the penalty was shouting to Brian that he took the ball before he caught Sammy but half the Keel team were chasing Sammy accussing him of diving while at the same time Justy admitted he caught him but took the ball first  Anyway the pen was well saved. In all honesty were were far worse when Keel went down to 10 men that we were when at 11 v 11. First half we could easily have been 4 or 5 clear but for some great saves from the keeper and us missing al few chances and keel scored with their only 2 chances in the half. 2nd half was more of a battle which we held our own. Silly sending offs for both teams. Fish ive said for years, Tommy McCullough on his day is as good as anybody in the league when he's on top form, he's unplayable but you just dont get to see it enough. Yesterday was one of his really good days and would have caused bother for any team in that form. As I said its a super way to start of the season for us, roll on Tuesday night! |

Gives us a wee bit of lift going into the next few games anyway Rush09. If we can play like we did first half for most of the games this season, im sure we'll give most teams a decent game.
Forgot to say, im sure its happened many times before in the BSML but it was good to see all 3 McCullough brothers start for us yesterday!

thanks for making it sound like it was a bad ball to me but i should off done better,a hoof would done the job nicely nice finish/toe poke tho, use have a good side there and if use play like that every week use will be defo challenging for top 4 |
