Narrow defeat tonight against a team who would certainly finish in the top 6 on the 1st division ;D  As expected it was mainly reserve/youth team players for Ballymoney though there was a few familiar faces in Randal Reid, Lee McLelland(sp), etc. Nothing really between the teams at all, well except for their goal which came from a Randal Reid deflected free kick. Think we deserved at least a draw from it, had alot of half chances but cant remember either keeper making a save. Anyway another great workout, good to see Don Revie make his first appearance too (even though he looked knackered after the warm up  ) Good luck to Dingle and the lads |

Don't think they were as strong as thought they were goin to be but few great players and good work out, really think we could of won the game missed great chance myself, but all bout fitness now which I don't have

Think we will all agree it is likely to be the worst game of football any of us will be involved in all season!
The 2 first team players were the worst on the field I thought, Randal & kyle. We were absolutely brutal, 2nd half especially. Not many chances and def didnt deserve to win the game. Thank feck Joe wasn't there is all I can say.
Good luck to Michelin, great bunch of lads, and when fish comes out of my wee bro's pocket tell him well done!
And cheers for the grub, wasnt expected for an evening game!

I think it was because fish and Mitty knew it was gettin closer to food time so upped their perfromance, although during the warm down fishy told me he was off sandwiches (true bill)

Everyone else was training Cheers Dingle Thought Willy Wilkinson done really well for you tonight for his first game with ye's, always was a really good defender and looks to have got himself really fit in the past couple months. Certainly worth a go IMO. |

Sure big mitty already said they would be top 6 ;D On reflection they would be top 4, just behind the 3 elite teams In all seriousness, best team we have played in pre-season was Rasharkin, they are the only team that (especially first half) we really really struggled to contain. Itll be interesting to see how they get on in their league this year. |

As for randal, Ive not seen much of randal as yet, between him or me not being there at different times, but it seems his attitude more than anything let's him down. A goalscorer is something they struggled with badly last season and I would say this year will be the same. Joe rates him however and while he is there he will play. Seems a decent enough fella though. |
