To be honest going to Larne is a bit of a pain in the arse its as far away as Belfast ffs,actually i can drive to Belfast quicker.I think to be honest a 15mile radius should be the max after all its a Ballymena Sat morn league and getting up for games 23mile away is rippin it.But Glenarm were a good bunch of lads besides that.Should Abbeyview not stay up rather than the losers of a 2nd div playoff come up(bit rare)......  Stop getting Lenny to pm ye posts lol  Also Ratman might add to your post too!! ;D ;D Those 2 love the non-ballymena teams |

In 1982 it won the award of best looking new borns...I like to think I contributed to that accolade. I think we could get something organised here Froggle but I've checked the records and it appears we may need to give Lenny's boys a few goals up as their team thus far consists of Lenny, Chris Kennedy, Cheesy and Smiley..... ...now Smiley wasn't actually born in the hospital but in 1984ish there was a National Health Vets opened up behind the morgue in it...he qualifies by default!! |

RIght am i right in saying this ..there will be no playoff final in the 2nd as its pointless because they are now both going up anyway.So win yer semi final yer promoted.What a load of pish!.Has Abbeyview no chance to have a playoff to maintain 1st div status?  ??I worked me balls of to try relegate Shore Thur night to.Even took out 1 of my own players out and he's fooked getting that ball outta the box :-) |

We didn't turn up Thursday night and didn't deserve any more than we got. Don't know how you feel Abbeyview deserve to stay up moe than us (Shore). The fact we took four points from them this season speaks for itself. Roll on next season. Everyone will be playing a different Shore team. I can guarantee that. |

Duno if anybody has mentioned it but wud a relegation/promotion play off not make more sense?
Say northend and thistle and huever wer third go up then 4th 5th and 6th plus abbeyview in a playoff? Seems stupid that a teams in the playoff that are goin up wether they win or lose?

It'd make sense but them's the rules at present. Few of the rules in the league could do with being looked at, i imagine any rule changes have to be brought up at the agm.

May need a few of the older hands to confirm this, but did it not used to be the team 3rd bottom went into the play offs with the team 3rd,4th & 5th in 2nd division.
I'm nearly positive when Demense had a decent team this happened when we were in these play offs.

why did you work your balls of to relegate shore quasimodo? is there something im missing here, why should you care if abbeyview get relegated when you play for rovers? ?? cos i have been injured most of the season dude and got on 5mins v carniny next game got 25mins against glenarm and didnt put a foot wrong and with the big squad we have i really had to impress wax as he is looking at youth and i will be 33 next season and was pushing to get that big 3yr contract .top of that i have 3friends play for abbeyview so would be doing them a favor if i kept them up.on top of that yer number 10 was a gub all 1st half so i rolled my sleeves up and went on at half time and thought yer for the 2nd div rambo :Ddidnt work but i tried me best  |

well it was 3-3 they just scored a penalty and were getting on top of the game.40mins left thought of my 2mates plus our jeff on here and went on 2 impress manager and win.final verdict .......shore never scored 1 more goal and we scored 3 hit the post bar and 2 5yard sitters on top of that.plus my cruyff turn as a piss take summed it up for there back line.ps got that 3yr contract :-)happily do it again on yaz haler next yr sign who ya want :-) pmsl
