I always say it.. You have to catch me before you kick me lol
seems quite small inside but decent nets and surface. 4 aside would prob be perfect

Much big man? Does it look the part? ASOB not out at it yet Pele? Its a very good wee spot, once it's been fully finished it'll look really well, im sure it'll be one of the best facilities around. If it was bigger it'd be even better, but you could easily play 5 aside in it, anymore though and gets a bit tight. Id say it's a great money maker and wouldnt surprise me if in the next 10 years there's a few similar places around.

I've always said it was sh!te and badly run that's a shame mate, in this type of weather it's ideal for training, must be a wee problem with their admin at the minute with the same thing happening a couple times, but if you get the chance to go out again you should definitely give it a go.

Played a wee game in it yesterday morning perfect for 5 a side but def a work in progress, the showers arent ready yet. They would have been better finishing it then opening but I suppose they probably needed to get some £ coming in. 50 for the hour is very pricey although that seems to be the going rate for all these 3g places. the one in ballyclare is 60 during the week

Had the great pleasure of helping play and donating the defibrillator for the Sportshut.I must say with the upstairs finished this is a class setup now.Completing roughly 12hrs in 24hr period i was glad to get to my bed yesterday.During breaks we had food layed on, pool table ,x-box with Fifa 13 etc games, poker machine's etc plus Sky Sports for football and had 3-4 warm showers throughout the day/night.Really really impressed and already have friends inquiring about sending there kids some pre school some primary for Ballymena Utd Youth training that's just started and also possible birthday partys. Can't praise this place enough keep up the good work. One of my highlights of the day was on the rota i played 1 hr,off 1hr,on 3hrs,off 2hrs then when i came back on for another 3hr stint about halfway into it in walks N.Ireland legend Keith Gilliespie who my tired legs had to mark for 1hr and a half.As you guessed had him in the back pocket ;-)Really did give me that lift to play as well as i could great idea and boost.Keep up the good work everyone at Sportshut :-)

Cheers.Friend who organised it has run Belfast marathon and he say's this was mentally and physically tougher in his opinion. There was a masseuse came in and when i hit the wall around 9-10hrs i was glad to get a rub.Never felt pain like it .Toe's swollen, calfs burning then groin last hr.Getting them knots massaged out was sore as hell but worked wonders.Yesterday back everywhere ached so was dreading what today would be like...Actually surprised how well my leg's have recovered though and back in again tomorrow night for an hour :-)

Absolutely brilliant stuff ye rangers bastart! Fair play modo, that's some going and for a great cause! Fair play also to Davy Brown and his colleagues who have clearly done a remarkable job with the place!

Davy was def considering it at a stage but couldnt tell you if it's gone any further than that. If he hasn't done it already he also was close to getting a bit of a partnership going with gillies about using the sports hut as well for their customers, stag doo's etc. Davy has put a stupid amount of time (and I'm sure money) into the hut so he deserves all the rewards he gets for it's success.

Was out a visit on boxing day and have to say it's a great spot for a day out. Squad together for a game of footie and then a bar etc upstairs to watch a game or play FIFA lol.
I know Davy was organising repairing some damage to the pitch so once that's done the place will be great for some organised footie etc.
Fair play sir Brown!
