mitty , bmena need a clearout .... from wat i hear , spike intends to do that ....  hope wee corry price gets a chance , as the glens and craine want him .... Defintely do need a clear out, problem is if players dont want to leave their contract early and no clubs want them then Ballymena are stuck with them to the end of the contract. Happened a few years back with a guy Joe McDowell (or something like that) had a good season at Newry the season before, Ballymena got him on a 2/3 year contract at £200 a week and realised he was f**king brutal after a few weeks. Couldnt get rid of him at all so he sat out most of the rest of the contract on £200 a week before I think he took a pay off a couple months before the contract ran out. |

Youth development is a complete disaster up at the showgrounds, for at least the last 20years this has been the case now finally they've taken steps to address this in the appointment of Joe McCall.... However this will not solve all the problems up at the showgrounds and rumour has it there will be an new coaching appointment this week by Mr Ferguson possible to help out/take over the reserve setup.... Seems to be the attitude there if you throw enough s**t at the wall some might stick.... Sign of lack of managerial experience!!!!

Bap I've been on the bench at the Thistle best part of 17 years so im speaking from my experience under all regimes!!!! until last week i was the last remaining member of the club when they 1st started.Played for Carniny under 16s and Thistle same season.You started season or 2 after way Navi etc.Rem be the youngest player and scoring on my debut against Waveney and also knocking the keeper out cold trying to pull off a fancy back heel.caught the ball and his chin.Your uncle Plum played in behind me i was right wing  |

Mr chips is correct he was at the Thistle for 10 minutes in 1995 before moving on!!! But he is wrong in the fact that we were all signed players in there first season didn't make my league debut till later I've been there every season since spent half a season at the rovers and half a season at galgorm!!! If your struggling with your research give me a shout...lol

carew , dont talk balls i have been with the thistle as 12 years , bar 1 season at galgorm on loan ..... . i dnt recall u being there , . 4seasons ago u played a bit .... last two years u have been a signed player ...................... doik,baldy,bonkers,cookie,fordi,dickey all the longest there . and goin strong ;D cum back when u no the thistle history you will find i was a member of the 1st ever Thistle side.even for 10mins .here's more history my Dad had started an under 13 team for young lads in Ahoghill in the Bmena area.Ahoghill Thistle.They beat Star utd and won the league there 1st season.The team consisted of mostly Ahoghill lads Mackey Baldy Tomper Noddis etc and also Jonny Hume Leroy Kirk Divil Fergie and lads from Ballykeel youth club.The team then developed into under 14 -16 and name was changed to Galgorm Rangers but the original lads Tomper Noddis Beatty etc when they turned 17-18 wanted a young side in Ahoghill and formed the team under the same name that kicked it off when they were 12-13 2gether Ahoghill Thistle now as the gaffer who knows his history is any of this lies  |

Ahoghill Thistle formed 1994..... Started by Thomper and Noods with a little help from bert, Chris Cooke, and tam j.... After playing numours friendlies the team official enter the Saturday morning league in 1995 wearing a second hand yellow strip purchased from riverdale for 40 pounds... First game was a cup match home to RACEVIEW which had to be played at galgorm as the Rovers were also draw at home!!!
