Ok first half, poor second. Wouldn't have done against a better team. Disappointed in Inver, was expecting a little more going by the rave reviews they have been getting past few months, but it's only pre-season so means little either way!

Was a bit scrappier tonight but there was a few flashes of good football. Over the 2 nights there has been a few players who i didnt particularly think much of who have impressed me. Looking forward to the season starting now to see the level in div 2.

No the crowd was very disappointed at that! He was in t-shirt and shorts!
The ball went into the field however and he done a crazy leap over the fence and just about managed to get over in one go! He wasn't so lucky on the way back over though, place was in stitches so that made up for no suit!

Agree with you here maccers. I thought Shane, Peter and Timber played well last night, and Matt, Keley and Josh played well the previous night (well for all I saw). Also good to see McCambridge playing too. If the swifts can get him back playing regularly this season then he will be a real benefit to the team!! As dingle mentioned, still a lot of experienced players to come into the team yet so I think the swifts should do alright this season. |
