Now confirmed that the there will be a British team entering the Olympics. What's peoples thoughts. I'm looking forward to it. Will fifa see this as the beginning of the end of the four separate associations ?

Surely this will be just an English team as don't see many of the other players from the other countries getting selected.

It's only an under 23s team the likes of bale n ramsey will prob play cant see who will play from ni maybe goodwillie from Scots is say all teams will be represented should be good

i doubt any players from Northern Ireland or Scotland will get in the squad, it probably will be all English bar Bale and Ramsey

Will give me a bit of interest in the olympics now.
Be interesting to see what the make-up of the team is. I believe you can have 3 overage players too? Maybe Giggs will fancy a shot at an international tournament?

Wales Scotland and NI fa's have now released a statement saying they havnt agreed to anythin and are still against the idea lol seems there's a bita confusion
