Zola is a super player with bags of ability. I would have to say IMO he is one of the most talented footballers in the league without question. I think if he had a bit more discipline about himself (will come with time) he would get in the carniny team no problem, but having played with him quite a bit i honestly don't know what his best position is because i think part of the reason abbeyview done so well 2 years back was because both him and cocky could play anywhere in the team and do a great job. He has been a mainstay at centre-half for abbeyview for the past few years but he continually takes the piss out of boys at training going forward! Mind you, as goram already stated on a previous thread, if he goes to carniny...mo, dowie and jones are as good as it gets in the BSML...not to mention wilko, so i reckon he'd have more a chance further back. zola is a super wee player from what i seen, but i agree with pele i thot the blonde haired boy impressed me more. And im not sure if he would get in carninys 11 next year, it will be very strong. He wouldnt get in 'no bother' anyway.. I heard he was for Chimney corner?

Thats some going in just two years, in my 11 years at the saints i have, 2 top fours, 2 ace cups, 1 carlsberg cup and top goalscorer two years running. Swap you a top 4 for a league title?  p.s as lenny says, lower division things dont count, so I wont put them (it) in. |

Zola would get in their team pele iv no doubt about that. wee zola uptops, i think is absolute quality...would compare him to mo mcdowel and rodger, thats how good i think he is! but everyone has there own opinion i guess |

He is suspended for the first 3 games I think anyway. It does not look good for him they need the swelling to go down so they can diagnose it properly if it's torn he was told it will be months if it's a small tear it will be several weeks  |

Aye it'll be a big blow but that's wat the squad is about.
Cocky you were like Casper the not so friendly ghost last nite :-) that was a great session alright it's really hard and it's painful at the time but see once you get out of the shower you feel great, can't wait for the season to kick off, teams are improving all the time so we have to make sure and up our game also!
