Rovers seem to have lost a few players from last yr, so think Broadway should win this 1 easily maybe 3 or 4 with chuky not on the score sheet and missing a pen

Broadway Celtic 4-1 Ahoghill Rovers
Started sluggish in this game today and Rovers passed it well without creating much, once we started getting the foot on ball and passing it we created some good chances and there keeper made some good saves but finally got a good goal through specs.
Second half we passed alot better and smiley scored an absolute screamer when he volleyed over the keeper into the top corner, we were comfortable after this then gave a pen away to make a game of it.
I scored to take the pressure off as Rovers were pushing for the equaliser then Gavin nodded one in after a great move that started at the back.
All in all a good three points but performance could of been better, on a side note big sean mccambridge made his debut today for us after his travels and was outstanding and will help us massively to the end of season.

Played a game for us a couple years back ago and was top class. Hard f**ker too. Id never seen him before but we were playing in a midweek game in Cullybackey and he walked on the pitch with his ROI top on, go a good bit of abuse from the touchline. Didnt help 30 seconds into the game he f**king nailed some Cullybackey player ;D Good signing Pele, is he there for the rest fof the season?

must say i was heavily impressed with some of the one touch play yestaerday v the rovers , we started ok and got into the way of things after our opening goal , then we held on to our lead with another goal before the half , although ahogill did get back into the game with perhaps 25 mins to go with a softish penalty with all respects , but we then stepped up a gear ane actually done what the boss professed we should do , and of course it payed dividends with a couple of cracker team play goals , wee had a corner which was struck very well to the on coming m, maybin who popped up and throttled a maybin style onslaughting header into the roof of the net , as we all know this is what he excels at , infact he is the best at it since my brother melvyn who use to do it time after time for the great carniny sides of the 80s and 90s , i can honestly say the last goal was remeniscent to the great goal by terry mc dermott for the pool vs spurs in 1978 ,. 3 touches from the keeper full back down the line to smiley and cross to gavin and then the net , i would like to say as far as a team goal , i dont think iv seen any better this season anywhere , so as usual its onwards to the next game on tuesday night vs old advasirys connor , we really have to win the rest of our games at home to give ourselves any chance of gaining anything from our remaing away games , i have every confidence that we can , and as usual its a huge cmon the wee hoops , on behalf of the shermourinhio , , cheers
