Great wee cup this, and there is always a good spread laid out for the players after every game, loads of Irish league players in it so it's a high standard, too much traveling for it tho.

The forums own Carlton Palmer won Player Of The Tournament 3 or 4 years ago in this tournament. 6 years ago now Pele as it was 2005 i was fortunate to win player of the tournament in the Drummond Cup or as its known down there the Trevor o'Neill Memorial. Tbh its probably the best ever trophy i won in my career as the players taking part were top notch, even in our team we had the likes of Richard Clarke (glens) Big Lecky (portadown) and Davy Calderwood (coagh) and big Paul Muir so was well chuffed when i got the award. Lenny i was actully playing centre half in this Cup with big McDowell as my parter at the back and the 2 of us never gave Rory Hamill and Vincent Sweeny a kick in the final  In all fairness its a great competition really well run and the standard is as good as gets for summer football |

took in the dervock v west bann game
1 1 after normal time . dervock won 3 2 pens
alot of great players on show tonite ...
peter mccann stood out , new he was diff class ...
but 1 lad that i thought was super was paul gillian ... excellant striker , really impressed me . good touch,quick and never gices up .
gracey also looked the part and did very well ...
