Allen park golf club the venue again this year(mich club booked apparently  )....great nites craic last year and a superb meal too! Disco to follow and the usual shenanigans should provide ample entertainment to the merry hordes ;D anybody wanting to attend for the disco more than welcome! Last committee meeting this Thurs nite to finalise numbers for Dinner...52 at present I think...and deposits to be paid. |

Numbers upto 60now and the donations flowing in for prizes atm.....thanks to all who donated.....especially Allen Park themselves,very nice touch indeed...Ive a feeling Dowies right on this 1.......goina get well messy  im actually dreading the golf day on the 25th now !!!!!! |

A special mention must go out to man that is known as Giggs - apart from his Cotton Eye Joe dancing routine and his love of all things vodka, a special merit award is getting reddied as I've never known a man to fill up a pint glass instead of empty it ;D
Chunderred into it and if filled up that quick it near took the head awf him and then opened up the balcony window to splatter some hure down below ;D
Trip to the bog,washes the face,5 bits of chewing gum shoved in his bake and returns to the bar swearing he had never just "thrown his ringer up" fceking legend !!!!!

Naw apparently it's pretty easy to book if ye know how....they say the trick is to actually pick up the phone, dial the number for the Michelin Athletic Club, Say "hullo, my name's Dessie (just pick a random name to get this point across) and I'd like to know if you have a date available to host my football team for our do..." They say, providing ye stick, more or less, to that method of attempted booking ye should be grand. And anyway, no point in you 'coming', although as soon as yer eyes spy any of pink we'll know you've 'came'... ;D ;D |
