Absolutely.....................if you dont have a bloodline i believe you should stay with the association you have been with from a wean Donks !!! We are arguing the same side of the coin ffs......or maybe im wrong ......again.......EH Being born in the country although not in name and seperated by a ficticous line shouldnt require a fecking bloodline, its pretty simple 99% of nationalists and republicans living in northern ireland class themselves as irish and likewise the the unionists and loyalists will class themselves as british and to be quite honest i see any problem with this..... Balls !!

Fellas we are going down the line which I did not want to when I started this thread so let's nip it in the bud now.
I think the main point is that if people are wanted by their country they should make their allegions known at a certain age which in my opinion 16 would be acceptable as the clown has said everyone knows which country they want to play for along time before 16.

So what if a player is wanted by their country when they're 16, make their allegiance known.....but by the time they are old enough for senior football they are no longer wanted and haven't had a senior cap Going by you're opinion they would just have to give up on International football cause they made their allegiance known when they were 16!!!! Non-sense Jaysis at 16 I wanted to be a footballer....so much for that idea ;D ;D ;D

Just because someone spends alot of money on someone doesnt mean they should own them, this thing happens in every walk of life, people start a job with someone, the company spends alot of money training them, and then another company comes along offering the same job for more money and they take it. Thats life, just have to deal with it.

Totally agree but surely this should not apply to representing your country.
It should be a matter of pride and these boys are using our wee country to gain experience at a certain level then jumping ship to another country. Surely they should simply put a sign up to the ifa reading need not apply and make the allegions known earlier.
This is in no way the same as moving to a different company for more money.

Well said Dome......I'd say theyl sit in the stands watching the ROI scratching their heads and wondering why they made the choice ! Nice tracksuits thou ;D ;D
