I let the lads know tonight that i will be stepping away from running the side, absolutely nothing to do with tonights result made my mind up at Xmas just felt there was no point in maybe upsetting the side from then on.
I enjoyed my season and maybe again in the future i'll give it ago.
Hopefully we can announce the new gaffer asap.

Very sad to hear this myself...
I know things didn't work out for me personnally at Broadway this season but that was for one important reason, Michael brought in quality front men in Gavin and Brett and along with Brian I would have struggled even if fully fit and at my best to compete with that quality.
Some of the signings this season would never have played for Broadway had Michael not persuaded them to come along....Gavin, Brett, Kieran Loughran...top, top players at this level.
I'm sad because I honestly think if Michael had taken another season, learning from any mistakes that he come across in his first season, and was able to add more quality then Broadway would have been a serious force...we all seen what he was able to get out of the players available at times this season!!!
On the other hand, I really don't think someone with that playing ability still at their disposal anyone should be thinking about management....still could win many top awards as a player.
Good luck Pele in whatever ye decide next, IMO it was still a season to be proud of!!!

Good post Chucky.
Broadway is bigger than one man or men and has great history and will always be able to attract good players.
Get rested up and have a good night at our dinner and take it from there.

Well done Pele you had a good first season(better than mine lol) but I will agree with Mr Fish get on the pitch and play football something that your good at, managements for old guys that cant run,you still have a great deal to offer the hoops on the pitch concentrating on your own game and when you get old and grey like me then think about the managerial side. Good luck

Sad to hear but not unexpected! As everyone has said management is a tough dirty oul game at this level and doing that on top of giving 100% on the pitch as a player is thankless. Enjoy your playing days as you will have many years to think about the sideline game.
Anyway, I'm sure main objective was survival so mission easily accomplished! Well done

Good luck Pele, its a c**t of a job that takes a lot of time up, so good for you to stick at it after Christmas, maybe give it another crack in the future.
Did I hear a former manager is making a return?

I was impressed when you moved further up the pitch last night, you started to show you can still play with your feet rather than just be a head the ball. I agree that you should give it another year and build on what you have already achieved, adding to what you already did after a years 1st managerial experience. We have a player manager, who played centre half but then signed a couple of centre halfs and that freed him up to move forward, he has scored 31 goals this season while being manager at the same time. Like yourselfs, everything went well in the 2nd, management was easy, then comes the 1st, it is such a jump in quality and finishing 6th in your first year is an amazing achievement, with the players you have and the addition of a few others you can improve on that next year
