div 3 randalstown fc(champions) 8-0 cloughmills mott 3 kitty 2 a.highnman wee daz ewarty great win yesterday to secure the title before the trip to the phoenix on wed night. we came away from cup final last fri night disappointed and confidence severely dented...knowing that we needed 9 points from 3 games this week so that penarol match meant nothing. 2 nil down on monday night against cushendall at half time and coming back to win 3-2 showed great character and fight and imo won us the league. great season from the lads only loosing one league game, beating connor on the way to the 3rd round of the junior shield, getting to final of 3rd div cup and one step of the quarter finals of the rainey cup getting beat by the homers. special mention to mott and kitty scoring over 60 goals between them this season, think both of them have averaged over a goal a game, which is good shooting no matter what standard your playing. unlucky penarol, use had a great season too and have came away with nothing which im sure is a hard pill to swallow but heads up use will definately be in the running next year for promotion im sure. championeeze championeeze olay olay olay!!!......  |
