2 more goals for Joe Gormley today, hard to believe he was playing amateur league only 2 seasons ago.
Was talking to a guy in work who was getting a Linfield bus down to Ballinamallard today, was packing 12 beer for the way down and a bottle of Whiskey for the return trip

would probably say joe the goals first was an og but his second was decent. out muscled the defender and he doesn't miss those. reds weren't great today but a wins a win.

Who would you get in if DJ got the sack Jeff?

Who would you get in if DJ got the sack Jeff? Bound to be big Stanley Baxter as the main option, next maybe Oran Kearney, think it's too early in Spikes managerial career to go after him. In saying that I can't see the blues sacking BFJ.

Baxter seems to be under the impression the Crues are going to dominate local football, he might not want to leave at this stage. Have heard Magilton being mentioned

It would be a case of seeing whose interested donko. Though I have heard magiltons name whispered. Locally I would want spike or Oran. Inexperienced as they are they are both bluemen who would command immediate respect from fans and players alike. Lets remember DJ had no experience when he took the job on. Personally wouldn't have Baxter about the place and I know a lot of Linfield fans feel the same. Mitty I think on terms of DJ leaving the club it's now a case of when not if.

IMO you could send any buck egit into linfield and get results, look at the budget, squad, resources compared to the rest. Maybe that is a naive statement I dunno.
Only one man for the blues job if dj goes and that is spike!

Stick you to what you know zizou folding good clubs

They are nowhere near as far ahead as the other top prem teams compared to your lot in the IL;) think about it the wee tangerine man

City especially have unlimited resources at least until these new rules come in yet they still can't get out of their champions league group and are 6 behind in the league. Regardless of our resources there are still teams in this league over here who pay players more than we do. Portadown and Gary twigg for example. In many wats we are like utd we have the money but don't spend it. ( DJ prob go and splash bout 200k) in January now to blow my argument outa the water ;D )

Not sure if Kearney would want to leave Coleraine at the minute, by all accounts he has a 10 year plan, has totally over-hauled the academy set up and has a very hands on approach to everything in the club ( probably be Linfield manager by tea-time now I've said that)
