Blaneys confidence seems totally gone very nervy in there.
Great result for the IL tonight, 4 teams with big chances to win the title.

only saw 2nd half, Linfield just couldnt finish, the lad lowry had a bad night.
I thought garrett and patterson looked good.
Carson and hamiliton when they got on the ball were top class.

Patterson showed a serious turn of pace at one stage but it could of been to do with the Glentoran full back being slow ;D

Not too downbeat after tonite think we battled well and were unlucky to lose. The Gary Hamilton jokes reality came back to haunt me tonite fs. We will still win the league iv no doubt about that. Confidence looks low at the minute but someone will feel the backlash soon. Gutted to be beaten again by such a s**te glentoran team, time and time again we let them off the hook tonite was another example.
Wee nephew who is 9 cheered me up on the way out. Just outa the blue he says to me ' I hate those scumbags, ud think they won the cup ( he means league ) tonight.' Job done, didn't take him long to learn the crack ;D

Agree with jeff, blues to front men worked the back 4 well i thought although they never took any chances, we aaron burns played really well and along with carson he impressed me most.
Big gibbo, big and strong ya know but how he is getting the money hes getting there i'll never know, nice big fella all the same.

IMO wardy didn't have a great game tonight.
Wee Scott young deserves alot of credit. Surely even the Bluemen have to admit. For a 34 year to take over at the glens on the darkest period of their history and keep them in a respectable place in the table. Not to mention create a decent squad considering his resources is a massive achievment.

Hamilton took a pay cut and his attitude has been 100% since he came back. And he was awesome tonight. The quality is hanging out of him and without him tbh the glens aren't half the team. |
