Some strike from the wee lad! Nice touch from the glens men for a change still applauding the young lads after they missed their penalties.
Nah Lenny no game today just another training session.

For a change!!!! Hahaha. The young fellas were very impressive and I think have gave most glenmen alot of confidence for this coming season. Along with the debut of Stephen Carson and the possible signing of Leon knight.

Anyone see the article in the sunday lies yesterday on downey? Seems he's found the lord. Now if and its a big if his injuries are behind him and he has finally sorted his attitude out he could be some player for bufc.
Must say from the stories doin the rounds when he was wi us to this its certainly been some turnaround for him

I know that's why linfield signed him ;D but when he done his knee he never came back from it. Both his attitude and fitness were questionable to say the least

Both his attitude and fitness were questionable to say the least Apparently when he done his ACL injury in his rehab he never listened to the physio's and came back far too early and made it worse, also he got a bad injury at Cliftonville aswell i think it was his hip.

not bad!! do ballymena have a game today?? Mittster will answer that but i think they are playing Ards at Chimney Corner. They had no game last Saturday. Next match is against Ards at Chimney Corner's ground this Saturday 16th July. They are playing there as the council want to keep the Showgrounds pitch in good nick for the Milk Cup matches.

L.I.F.A sign Rory Patterson on one year loan deal..... Could have swore the glens had some sort of clause that if he was coming back to the Irish league we had 1st refusal. Maybe we couldn't afford the wages or the clause is a loada balls either way I hate to say it but I think he will score goals for fun for the the scum.
Alot of forwards in the one team IMO. Thompson Fordyce carvill mccallister (unless he is away with the gaa) Patterson Browne and a few young boys.

Ballymena won 3 nil today, did the big Scottish midfielder play and did he look good?

It's lookin like thompson will need an operation so a goalscorer was a must imo. Patterson is a super singing and for once Davy I agree he will score for fun.
Noone does pele. Mcallister did but doesnt now he had to make a choice when he signed for linfield. if he still plays it won't be at any sort of serious level. Impossible to do both at a big club like linfield. The glens on the otherhand allow players to dictate to them ;D

Yeah i didt think anyone would be playing serious gaelic as big DJ would't have it.
What price big DJ was calling McCoist, Alistair today ;D ;D

No one plays it at the glens jeff wee scotty sorted that out straight away. Pele mccallister plays it jeff is in denial Oooh super linfield no one playing for them would ever play garlic but yes mccallister does and I'm sure there is others.
Jeff do the blues still hire out the pitch for the gaa??? That must be were all the money comes from.

Great signing for the blues!
Jeff wat exactly is wrong with pistol? It must be pretty serious some say he could be out for a very long time.
Davy, how's the backs of the legs ;-)

As I said Davy he doesn't play at any serious level since he signed for the blues said so himself when he signed.
Not that I'm aware of I believe they allowed a hurling club to use midgly once free of charge as they had nower to train. Our money comes from renting OUR ground out to the ifa for use of internationals Davy you should know that by now ;D

Davy, how's the backs of the legs ;-) Don't quote me cuz I'm not sure but I believe it is to do with the lung injury he suffered while at stockport. It comes and goes so they think only an operation will sort it. Very worring development

Ballymena won 3 nil today, did the big Scottish midfielder play and did he look good? I'll set myself up for a big fall here but I would suggest that Ballymena now have the best player in the league Pele. May be a rash statement after one friendly performance against Ards but he's got everything.

Can I just say here what the f**k does it matter if someone plays for or supports GAA aswell as playing football We have players who do both and indeed play at County level ,and we would encourage anyone from that community to do so with us.

no one cares quigs, the point i think the boys were making, that the clubs i.e linfield pay the players big bucks so they have been told to commit 100% to the club or pack yer bags..ye cant do both.
simples.
