I really don't see the problem. Well obviously I see the problem as in the idiots who are going to go ott about it but I mean, the wee lad gives his all for Norn Iron, that can't be questioned IMO.
Sadly we'll never rid ourselves of the minorities who continue to remain in the dark ages...surely they can understand what he's saying?

i dont see the big deal, as long as hes putting in the effort it shouldnt matter who he supports.
look at the ireland team when big jack took over, full of english but nobody could have give a fook cause they did the business.

I can see were jeff is coming from surely it would have been alot more sensible to say something about our own team.
It is a wee bit senseless and was prob better left unsaid. we all know he is a catholic and prob supported the ROI when he was growing up but I think everyone can see when he gets on he gives 100% but he prob would have been better keeping quiet about the country he supports.
And I think I can say for everyone NI fan that it wouldn't matter if it was ROI Ghana or Spain. You just don't come out after getting beat by your rivals and say I supported the team that just tanked us as a boy. Just a tad silly.
