With shore getting beat and mich dropping points it closes the gap for us but it is still in westend and st comgalls hands imo. Massive match on sat at home to westend. Not sure when we play st comgalls at the San Siro will be another hard 1  |

watched that match tonight.hard fought battle.think michelin had 1 shot on goal 1st half way a free kick,thistle had loads of chances to go in 3-4up at half time.2nd half mic came back in it.had thistle on the back foot.ahoghill still had chances,then wee mo put the game to bed.gonna be a tough run in for the top 6.any1s :-)

Was a great game, end to end the whole match, mich will feel unlucky with some chances they had but I think we were the better team on the night.

IF Gracey gets sent off though, its a game changer! Doesnt matter now, youse lads walked away with the 3 points! |

great 2nil win tonite ... was a very tough game . we battled so hard and did well to prevent mich scoring ... this win keeps us up there way the big guns ... on the game , we started well and took the lead thru a good browner goal ... great turn and shot ...,. we had a few chances ... but never took them . wiggsy nearly beat me way a low drive ... 2nd half , mich thru everything at us and our defence did brill to deal way it ... sexton and froggy were dangers at times ...we got a great break and we mo slotted home nicely to ease the pressure for us ... mr fish came on and looked sharp and sum neat touches ... all the best to mich in the run in ... hope ur ok mitty ... mich club after was fun .... mrfish, carew and goram enjoying a pint or3 ;D bet sum ears were warm on ere |

Well played tonight Thistle, a good big squad with some handy players!!!
Some meaty challenges and yes I think there should have been a red but that's football, the refs get things wrong from time to time. I'm sure they don't mean to.
Thistle had chances first half, quite a few half ones IMO and didn't take them. We had a couple of good chances second half, myself especially, took a decent touch to get past the defender to just roll it down the middle, aiming for far post!!! Not good enough!!
Second is very tight between a range of teams this year as opposed to the "big two" last year fighting for honours on their own. Some great teams involved, including both teams tonight.
I think Thistle could very well be up there in the end. Big Duck has done a great job and fair play!!
Nice meeting and chatting to a few of the lads from on here, Bale, Carew and mostly big goram, all good lads!!
Good luck for the run in lads!!

Someone mentioned the ref worked in Michelin....you'd never had known!!!!

I thot we did just edge it tonight on chances Mitty, we rode are luck at times but the games could have been over in the first half
Big goram kept us in it 2nd half with some great saves.
