Competition for places is fine, i have no bother with that at all, after all you know what you are letting yourself in for when you sign, its when you are 2/3s of a way through a season and 2nd in the league when you hear that your manager is looking for a replacement for you, you feel used and abuse and ultimately, disposable. You feel the manager doesnt trust you to do the business and you therefore do not have any trust in your manager, this leads to a loss in form and arguments when the heat is on. Ahoghill Thistle could crumble this spring

Our left back's birthday is in November yet Goram provided a drink or 2 that night. Can't see someone from Larne going to Ahoghill to be an understudy can you?  |

From memory he wasnt playing that night, missed all the midweeks cos of his job. Ask Goram if you are concerned - he ALWAYS tells the truth! |

Cant have been as this was the Braid left back and I thought you were centre midfield, Penalty/corner/throw in/goal kick/centre taker due to your importance to them. I'd guess you and our left back would be similar to Wayne Bridge and Ashley Cole where you are Bridge. And your manager obviously has a similar opinion. |

Remember 65 mins is the advised upper limit for a man of my advanced years and we were into the 2nd half I took a couple of sneaky digs from the leftback off the ball in the first half so was already in a huff with him. I had already notched which always keeps me happy so I was ready for the shepherds hook... looked linewards and realised we had 2 subs on already and our other sub was a keeper. No f**king way I was going off for a goalie. I knew we had nothing to fear from Braid so when the left back done another one of our players I saw my chance, tripped over him, took the red and headed happily for the changing rooms. I could tell my actions would be seen as protecting our young players rather than the real story of my petrol light being on. You'll learn as you get older Bale |
