Not when it is a direction of the league Davy, there was a code of conduct all clubs had to sign at the start of the year which said any team bringing the game into disrepute will be dealt with as breaking this code and will be dealt with accordingly. In my opinion by doing what they done while the officials of the league and infact the official in charge of the game asked for a minutes silence, then by refusing to observe this is in breach of this contract. It is for this reason that I think they should be dealt with.

You might think it is getting old bruce, but still no one from Abbeyview has come on to dismiss the rumours or explain if there was a misunderstanding, and for that reason I don't think it will ever get old. So in my opinion (for what its worth) it shows exactly what Abbeyview are like.

i cant comment on it cause i was half way through the warm up and looked round 2 see randalstown sky blues standing at half way line in silence. how can any1 dismiss rumours wen there true we didnt stand as for wat reason i dunno but i was warming up and looked round and seen blues standing quietly there my ABBEY view on it

lads its getting a bit old now for what ever reason they didnt do the silence is between them no need 2 bring certain comments in2 it. An us ourselves never had a mins silence cuz we didnt no bout it but we were playing a team from larne and didnt mention anything about it but surely they would have known bout it. Dont see anybody getting at them so dont be getting at just 1 team for not doing it

have to say lads dont think the thread should be locked. its hear for people to voice their opinions on matters around the bsml, and when people step out of line abusing managers and so on its up to the moderators to sort them out.
was talking to someone from abbeyview and they told me that they have their reason for not participating in the silence and its not sectarian but il leave it up to the abbeyview players or management to disclose it if they wish.
