Surely to god, Rvp must be coming, if we end up with no one it will not look well.

:(See that. United messing about.. Instead of just offering Wat they want they try getting a cheaper deal. Lets hope they have a plan B Yep - offer 25 for a player valued at 35. Tell the adoring public 'we're doing all we can to sign this player'. Then when someone stumps up the proper fee trot out the line 'no value in the market' Skint!

I read somewhere they were happy to pay the fee of the player, but fergie refused to pay the players 'team (agent etc)' 8m they were asking for.
Was meant to be the same situation with hazard, his team wanted 6m, again fergie said f**k aff.

Did he but ? It always seems to be the agents fault.. The agents work for the player.. Therefore is the clubs have agreed the player makes the decision. Im with bap.. Skint!

Skint indeed false bids to let fans believe we have cash. We don't and our turnover for this year will be crap cause we won nothing and early exit from Europe. Our business I think is done unless we sell. I'll be very surprised if Sir buys RVP its not the area we need to strengthen

There is £70 million in cash to spend. Its there in black and white. I'm glad we haven't got Moura. In what planet is a 19 year old kid worth £35 million. It's crazy, PSG will prob pay him bumper wages too. I would much rather get RVP signed up. Also, I don't want Baines at United. IMO, he wouldn't cut it in European Football.

Fergie talks about agents fees but never mentions the amount bebe's agent got near 3 million. He needs to remember the fans who stood by him through the rock of Gibraltar breeding rights fight with the Irish pair which in turn led to them selling there shares to the glazers. He thinks we're mugs and will believe wot he's says but for all he's done which will never be forgotten some things he's said recently like real united fans will understand him siding with the glazers and there great bosses. Another season of Giggs carrick and scholes filling centre midfield will prob continue and we will be told no value in market was found. A club like united should easy be able to every 2/3 seasons spend 100million to freshen up. Top of Forbes again multimillion pound sponsorship deals and we sign league2 players.

Twitter is saying the deal is done or near done. Still not convicned we need him tbh but IF he comes and plays half as well as last year it will be a good signing.

Rumour is Fergie wasn't at the game lastnight, he was on business trying to tie up the deal for RVP and is likely to be on £220,000 per week.
dunno if this is true but a mate of mine is big Man U head and has it on his bakebook, hope its true.

Yes he wasnt at the game, storys would suggest he was trying to iron out a deal for Van Persie.

Yes he wasnt at the game, storys would suggest he was trying to iron out a deal for Van Persie. We're about 4 days away from the speech where he'll talk about how good Paul Scholes is looking in training and how having Fletcher, Cleverley and Vidic back is like having 3 new signings. Plus how well some of the young lads have been playing making it hard to leave them out. Also he thinks Chicharito will benefit from having a free summer and feels things are looking really promising. As for new signings, Kagawa and Powell were 2 players we really wanted but as for others, really theres no value in the market.

how do you's see united line up if they bring in rvp. cracking player when fit but just interested in how united will line up with him in the side. i imagine a change of formation will be required.

Really dont know - up fronts not the problem and never has been. Still got Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez and Berbatov knocking about. For 5 or more seasons now the centre of midfield has been the issue. Thought it was solved when Hargreaves signed but unfortunately he was a Lenny. Carrick/Cleverley/Anderson/maybe Fletcher competing and with Scholes and Giggs as back up for the central positions doesnt sound that bad. Then with Kagawa, Young, Nani and Valencia there's an attacking threat. Its certainly good enough to win 90% of games but not for the 10% that decides medals. Top central midfielder needed still... since about 2006. Though I'd still take RVP - I like shiny new signings.

im looking at it and thinking something 4-2-3-1. rvp up top, welbeck, hernandez as back ups. your 3 in behind can be any combo of young, rooney, kagawa, valencia, nani. imagine scholes with 4 players ahead of him too. scholes, giggs, cleverley, carrick & fletcher if he comes back are capable of filling those roles in cm. anderson could prob slot into the 2 or the 3. i think your whole back 5 might need looked at. the only one i'd say at present is united class is vidic. ferdinand, evra are on the downward slope & smalling, evans, jones, twins, de gea are all a bit inconsistent.

Van Persie on the bench!
Cleverley, Kawaga and Rooney need to be playing together imo, at the back Rio and Vidic and at LB an RB im not so sure, i will be happy with any of the 2 keepers. We cant count on Scholes as much but i think he can still do it if last season is anything to go by, its gonna be a interesting season.

Kagawa is more of an attacking mid or second striker. no reason y all 3 couldnt play together

But Fergie likes his wingers. If he plays them 3 plus say Valencia and either Young or Nani down the flanks.Does he just have Carrick or Cleverly as 1 lone defensive midfielder cant see Kagawa doing much battling.Be interesting but a see a s**t load of goals .Time to change me dream team...:-)
