Tim Krul is perfect, he'll be dear but worth every penny.

On Talksport there that Sneijder has refused to rule out a move to United, he said his last transfer only took 4 hours to complete so he is ruling nothing out

UNITED HAVE NO MONEY. Fergie says there's no value in the market... He means the Glazers are taking 60+ million per year out of the club and we are relying upon talking past it superstars outta retirement to keep the club challenging. Cos the club is skint £80 mil for Ronaldo - still not spent.

That £80 million is in an American bank propping up an ailing shopping mall business empire.

Agree fellas Fergie talks about "value in market" but reality is that we have spent less than we've brought in over the last few years. Sneijder story is a Talksport tactic to get more listeners, they'll probably roll out their Dutch journalist out to spin a line or two to give it a bit more credibility.
Back to game today I thought we were very unlucky, bossed the majority of game but 2 bad goals given away. Definitely deserved at least a replay. Stoke is a big game now

Stoke is a big game now League will be fine players have been there won that. I dont like Scholes coming back. He's still more than capable of dominating against middling teams so was completely superb today and we lost it when he went off but he's not up to away games at big clubs like City, Chelsea,Spurs. Cleverley may be great but he has been built into the next Messiah since he got injured. Few good things have happened this season. Gibson's gone, Carrick has regained his mojo and is superb at the mo, Welbeck looks top drawer, Smalling continues to improve. The big probs so far are that Park still wears the bderoom slippers and cant stay on his feet, Hernandez has regressed, Evans puts the fear of God into me and the keeper looks like he plays for Abbeyview. But Our Lord still has the managers job. In God we trust.

So how come they bought De Gea, Lindgaard, Young, Jones, Smalling?
I assumed that was the Ronaldo money?

This Ronaldo money thing has come from David Gill saying it was sitting in bank reserves to be spent if needed. But the Glazers also promised £25 million would be set aside each year for transfers (on top of the £80 million I assume). Think they have made a net profit of £10 million on transfers since Ronaldo, so no matter what way you look at it the money they say is available hasn't been spent. The bank reserves were mysteriously reduced in the last set of company accounts as well. They are making more money than ever through sponsorship and the Glazers have increased ticket prices every year bar 1 but the quality of the squad is diminishing, something badly wrong. If they would just come out and say they have no money to spend at least we would just have to accept it then.

So how come they bought De Gea, Lindgaard, Young, Jones, Smalling? I assumed that was the Ronaldo money? United make fortunes every season. Should be able to compete financially with any other team. They have a different sponsor for the training kit ffs. Money coming from everywhere. In recent years we have seen big earners leave/retire. Van Der Sar, Neville, O'Shea and his 80k per week, Wes Brown, Scholes for a while etc. That prob saved the club nearly half a million per week, so not to hard to bring those guys in who wont be on the big bucks (apart from maybe Young) So as Burny says the money is being quietly sucked out to pay debts hoisted onto the club by the leeches from the US. Who bought the club with f**k all. Thats what green and gold was about. Biggest laugh about it was people sitting at Old trafford wearing their Glazer Megashop bought United clothing and a green and gold scarf draped over it. Sheer hypocrisy.
