I see that wee lad Petrucci is back after 2 serious injuries. He was supposed to be the dogs balls, but can you cone back after being out for neatly 2 years.
Very sad to hear hargreaves won't get a new contract. Thought He was immense in 08.

i agree with ye donko bout hargreaves, defo a brilliant player when fit, problem is he never is, i thought fergie woulda maybe tried a pay as you play deal to keep him on board, seems a waste especially if he gets back to match fitness with a good pre season next season. IMO o'sh1te is 1 of the worst players in man u history, i don't understand why fergie plays this fool, gives the ball away nearly everytime he has it, and has no pace, complete liability imo!!! i'm looking forward 2 valencia coming back from injury, him and nani on the wings will be hard for any1 to play against. Great thread! ;D

O'shea is even worse for the republic, at least at utd he has better players to bail him out, at international he is seen as one of the bigger players

Up until last season I was a big fan of Carrick but he's the type of player who is superb only when United are in control of a game. Just keeps the ball moving and the opponents working. But whenever someone is needed to dig in and fight he goes missing much too often.
I think also on Tuesday past he had one of his better games first half but as Scholes tired in the second half Carrick was left with twice the work to do and he's simply not capable.
You cant argue with the fact that since he's been at the club United have won 3 titles out of 4 and are in the driving seat for this one. I still thought he'd be away this summer though so the new contract is a surprise.
Hopefully Gibson gets shifted on this summer - I dont even want to get started on him.

I rate him highly, just seems to be quite injury prone. But when he's on form he's a real wee battler and a great passer of the ball

I still think anderson will come good, wat about this new keeper, anybody seem much of him? ive only seen his 2 cup games so far, will be sad when VDS hangs the gloves up, great keeper for us.

Watched his yesterday in a reserve match, he didn't have much to do but what he did have to do he done it well
can he fill VDS's gloves?? I don't think so imo. We need a big name golie, heard this boy julio cesar on his way out of inter and linked with united ;D

My worry is that we play with carrick and fletcher in middle, plenty of running, but no creativity. But Scholes always likely for aired in this game.

saurez destroyed us!!! a big hand in all 3 goals. god knws wot fergie see's in carrick. in my opinion he would struggle to get on at a mid table club like birmingham or villa. To many players nt on form atm either ( rooney, berba, giggs & scholes) always going to b a hard game without vidic & ferdinand aswell  |
