King kennys tactics of dive every chance u get worked today delighted to get the draw today as I cudnt c us scoring, thought fergie was wrong to rest the big guns today as if they all wuda started we'd of won imo, but I think he thinks a win in champions league on tuesday is more important to top the group, still disappointed tho as the pool r sh1te!

I think both managers set the sides out with caution and respect for each other and it was a poor game for an hour. On the goal, Adam def dived and Giggs showed an unreal yellow streak when he hid from the ball and let it go by him in the wall, i hope fergie tore strips off him in the changing room. De Gea made some cracking saves, i thought Evans had a good game but i was delighted to see Rio back to somewhere near his best against a superb player in Suarez. Btw how the f**k did Gerrard get Man of the Match award

Ray Wilkins said "because its good to have him back from a football perspective and an England perspective"
I'm not quite sure how that's a qualification for MOTM, but I thought Suarez, Smalling, Evans, Kuyt or Enrique would have been more deserving

Suarez could be in bother if the allegations are true about the racist slurs to Evra.

Fergie obviously thinks the games coming this week are more important, to me i wanted to win this game as much as next week.
Poor showing from us tho its good to see De Gea getting better each game, giggsy just doesn't have it in him to play against the big teams no more :-(

fancied city from the start.still fancy em for champions lge even though its been a shocking start.mancini has them really flying this season.great passing side and comparing players that could win a game with a touch of brilliance city are in a league of there own.they will dominate english football for yrs to come.

personally think jonny evans has been utds best centre half so far this season with vidic being out. thought he had a great first half against city and aguero keeping him very quiet. for me rio is coming to an end.

For me Evans always f**ks up in the big games and is prone to making schoolboy errors.
Getting caught wrong side against world class strikers is always gonna lead to big problems.
Sunderland here he comes ;D

Sunderland here he comes ;D i can remember vidic getting caught on the wrong side of torres a few times in big games!!! granted he was poor last season but think he has had a good start to this one...personally think he gives his all for utd everytime he plays and is sometimes used as a scapegoat for the big names in utds back four...evra is another one for me this season that is playing poorly, some of his defending has been attrocious.

Fair post there Junior. Actually would agree that Evans has done well this season but i just think he is behind Smalling and Jones. Evra has been very average too, talk about Fergie dropping him against Everton.

I can see all three playing together in the not to distant future pele.
fergie has got rid of a few great defenders over the last few years and has showed great faith in keeping evans, and in his interviews always speaks very highly of him. just hope he comes good and stays at utd as its good for nothern ireland as a whole to have a player come through a club like utd and not f**king wrexham or sc**thorpe!!!...shows kids from here that you can make it on the big stage if your good enough.

Agree with all your points junior think too many are quick to blame Evans for everythin. As good as Rio was against Liverpool he was twice as bad on sunday. Did Anderson touch the ball ? Evra? What a hateful wee c**t glad he's getting shown up this season. Don't think big smalling is a rb either. Agree with pele as well that Evans has a fight to keep smalling and Jones out of cb. Fergie sees something in Evans why else would he be starting him ahead of Jones in big games.

Evans gave the ball away for the first goal on Sunday, then didn't close Balotelli down, he missed a good chance to equalise then got sent off.... however I think Anderson was the worst united player on Sunday, out of his first 10 passes he gave away 7, he let Silva go for the second, and just looks totally unfit.... don't think fletcher has recovered from his illness properly either.
Fergie needs to settle on a back 4 and play them for a few games in a row
