Penoral have the best midfield in the league by far and they are good up front. Going the be hard to beat.
There weak link is the defence though, which means Carniny will def get chances.
Will be a very good game but i think Penoral will come out on top after 90 mins.

Definately agree with u there, finals should be played on the main pitch at the showgrounds more often, its something to look forward to...........makes cup competitions a bit more exciting to play in, especially for the likes of 2nd and 3rd division teams!!! It was strange why they played the o'kane cup at michelin last season and it was at the showgrounds the previous year?  |

I'd prefer our division's final to remain at the Phoenix. There was a good 150-200 there for our final there last season. Biggest crowd I've played in front of.
I have played on the big Showgrounds pitch a few times but there isn't much atmosphere unless you have a real good sized crowd in.
Watched the top 4 final last season and I think there would have been a better atmosphere at a smaller venue like Phoenix.

will be interesting to see what line -up Penarol have, cos of their higher league players, big wes, the 2 maybins, gamble and loughran.... tough call as to which 3 to include in the squad.... but i'm sure whatever side they field it will be a very strong one.... after all, they are league champions.... carniny have no such worries..... carniny have a few new faces this season, and although they have had good results so far, they haven't played anyone of great significance, apart from the sky blues, a game which they lost.... i suspect it will be a different story when they play the bigger clubs..... added spice to this fixture is the aaron wilkinson and wes lamont stories.... both will be facing their former clubs for the first time..... tough one to call.... with pele (brian maybin) claiming injury, but we all know he will be playing....... will go for 1-0 penarol triumph......  |

Carniny havent played any1 with any significance GROMIT.....dont think so lad!!! The sky blues may have beat us in the league but we stuffed them 4-1 a week later in the top four semi. we also have defeated the homers and enkalon this season in the league........im sure any all saints and penarol player would agree that enkalon and the homers on their day are as good as any!!! Obviously carniny havent played penarol or all saints yet and they will be the BIG games this season as all are predicted to challenge for the league but to say we havent had a tough game yet is abit wide of the mark!!! |

u've got to be having a laugh...... loughran is five times the player davidson is....
don't know why loughran is playing bsml, way too good...
big roy is quick and strong, pity he couldn't hit a barn door.... ;D

dont think roy is any where near as good as kieran. very good player in his day but kieran has an amazing footballing brain and ability to carry it out. can anyone seriously tell me why he is playing at penerol. is it cz of his work?

think i'll eat a bit of humble pie and retract the statement made about roy davidson.....
just after reading the bit in the paper about mark beattie and alan craig playing at the back for carniny....
beattie played centre forward for years and craig has has more clubs than nick faldo...... big roy will tear them apart......
penarol 3-0....
