Punjana is awesome Lenny -- but none of this teabag in a cup s**te. You have to stick a few teabags into a teapot, and stew the tea in this!!

wouldnt be a big fan of the tetleys myself. My favourite is bewleys tea, although you an only get it in the Spar at Dunfane and in Galgorm. Pele10, you should be arrested for crimes against tea..

This is the correct way to make tea ratman!! I am partial to a wee 'dibley' (teabag & cup) in work now I must admit!! Bewleys is nice as well!! What way do you take your tea Ratman? Needs to be very strong with milk and 2 sugars the bas!! Some coves in my work forget the sugar, or bring in stuff likes like warm milk.....raaaatan!!

Ratman you dont realise what you have started, Wait to shermouriho see's this thread.
He has carried out his all testing on tea bag usage and apparently there is a bag on the market that you can get upto three times more cups if you strain the bag and re use.
I will get our chief scout to comment on this topic!

hahaha 'a wee dibley' ive never heard that before. Im a solid black tea man, no milk no sugar, a nice ruby red colour. I used to be partial to a wee slice of lemon, and id have the odd cup of Green.
id be interested to hear shermourinho's findings, i think there is a lot of teabag wastage things were a bit tight in the ratcave last week and i had to make two cups from one beg and it wasnt grand. Although i took the first cup and gave the mrs the second and to be fair it looked a bit weak...

Lads to be fair imo its not about the tea bag its all about the making of the tea.
I get disgusted when i see the boil the kettle and tea bag in the cup method just the f**king lazy way, All about the wee tea pot boiling away like a good un then let her stew a while then add to a wee taste of milk for best results.

Sorry guys but Nambarie tea leaves are the best. Two spoons of tea leaves into a tea pot, leave for 2 minutes then pour. Milk added after and only a drop of milk. Still leave a drop of tea in the bottom of my cup as the leaves are at the bottom. ;D

Im a tea expert lads, at least 10 cups a day during the working week and the weekends could be pushing the 20 mark!!! Punjana is the daddy of teas...cant beat it!! I dont mind what way shes made...in a cup, in a pot...like er out the flask too but it has to be with milk and two sugars. Went for a sit in fry this morning with the boys i work with and one of them ordered a coffee with there fry...who the f**k drinks coffee with a fry??? Tea all the way although i am partial to a wee latte now and again. ;D

I reckon the use of milk destroys the natural beauty of tea. Ive always been s**te at making pots of tea, does it matter if the pot is metal or ceramic? p.s. some bladder at ye junior...

I have to drink my tea out of a mug thats white in the inside for some reason, i dont think its the same out of like a black mug...

Gotta be a couple of Nambarrie bags in a pot, leave it for 5 mins, then pour with a wee drop of milk. Result. My bro's a tea geek, he has one of those flash tea boxes, you know, like a posh bloke ;D Here's ONE of his cupboards... His list is... Earl grey (2 brands of), Lady Grey, Assam, Darjeeling, ...Nambarrie normal, Tetley Earl Grey and vanilla, Breakfast tea, Traditional Afternoon, Ceylon and some Earl Grey loose leaf. That's not including the 3 types of hot chocolate and Caramel Horlicks.
