Pele I don't think we missed a trick not signing Motter because from what I believe it could have been possible. I do think however that he is at the best club for him (maybe obvious) because he has all the ability in the world but just needs fitness. Not to say he couldn't get fit with any other club but if he doesn't train at carniny he won't get a chance. No doubt about it a fit Gareth Mott would be hard to handle. Good fair post there mate.

Good post tallboy...and your right gareth needs to be at a club were training is hard and fitness is priority so carniny is probably a better move for him...and from what he has told me so far dobbie is pushing him to the limit to get him there and imo will reap the benefits. I disagree with you on missing a trick cause imo the best two strikers in randalstown are both now playing for carniny, the last time sky blues were successful Chris and gareth were up front...I can't understand why sky blues wouldn't be busting there balls to sign a player of gareths ability instead of letting him sign for the best team in the league, which could come back to haunt them.

As i have said we dont mind missing out on mott as we have kitty hes younger scores goals and has more to offer in my opinion, mott is great player and good luck to him and hes from ballymena so hows he 1 of best strikers in randalstown strange 1 that u just concentrate on not getting relegated with the reds

What a load of balls brucey....previous posts state that you boys missed alot of chances at the weekend. IMO Mott probably would have scored at 1 of these chances.
I agree with tallboys posts apart from him being better of being at carniny. Maybe for him he is but surely it would be better for the blues to have him.
I can't imagine any manager saying flip he's a good player but he would be better playing for carniny were he would get fitter. Surely this applies to all bsml players.

Yo Lads wise up speaking from ballykeels point of view here, we needed them points we battled like it was a cup final and will continue til do so every week.... Sky blues dont need strikers i had the best game in nets ive had in long time and any1 that wasnt at the match shouldnt even be commenting UP THE KEEL

Let's not get into who's better lads both super players in there own right. According to tallboy and big blue boy sky blues had the chance to sign both but only signed one leaving the other one to go to carniny a team they should be challenging, doesn't make since to me, but I suppose only time will tell.

Just had a wee read at the posts on this thread and for once on the forums there is a bit of sense being talked.... As regards both players think they have both made very good moves... Kitson to the Sky Blues will be playing against better players and being young should improve... As for Motte to carniny there is no doubt if he has the desire to get himself fit carniny is the club that will get him fit!!! Only time will tell!!!

Like i siad Junior i believe it could have been possible as he was thinking about leaving the reds, not stating it was definate. I haven't been talking to the gaffer about it yet.

That's right grubby fingers I'm all mouth and yes I've short back and sides although I might add I mess it a little at the top. I'd advise a trip to coleraine for that itch but do me another favour see that £20 mackensie tracksuit uve never off your back bin it as its a little cheap looking and takes away from your pimped up albino look..........
