the way i look at is , if your going to throw the towel in when things arent going well , instead of putting your hand up and saying ok im not performing to my best but im going to hang in there and prove not only too your team mates but too yourself!!! your always going to look for the easy way out in life!!! make all the excuses yous like lads ,im jus saying it the way i see it !! the easy option is to walk away! sure we all know that !!! why not c it for what it is !!! and prove to yourself that you r capable of making the 1st team ! if yous walk away it jus shows youll always take the easy option!!! a teams not jus 11 players , its a squad!!!! Putting my hand up and saying I'm not doing my best?? LOL. Be fair bucko I haven't had a run of games to do anything about it!! Correct me if I'm wrong but did you not lose yer temper once and say "I'll not be hanging about if it's going to be like this" when you were subbed two games in a row at the Raceview 5 a side tournament just before ye stormed off?? ;D ;D ;D Now to everyone..... Firstly, Clown you're an arsehole for putting this on like this claiming I'm signing for Michelin just because you heard I was for their training. I had no idea what i was doing and you put this up LOL. Look lads how anyone can complain about me is beyond me and to be fair only Bucky really has on this thread. I put more effort into it this season than ANYONE purely because I had to. As soon as the full time whistle went against Connor and we were champions I realised among our celebrations that I wasn't good enough for the step up. We went out celebrating and the next day I was out on the training pitch beginning what was to be the most painful and hard 3 or 4 months of my playing life. Everyone got a months rest before pre season started, I didn't. I had to start there and then because I was awful, 3 stone overweight and I worked so hard and Brian Maybin set me up a diet plan (the man really knows what he's talking about!!) and I stuck to it 100%. I'm not saying this in a way of saying I trained so i should have played, far from it. I'm saying it because there is no way anyone can fault the effort I've made and I certainly wasn't "taking the easy way out in life". In the middle of Augest, after we beat Inver in the cup, I had a good chat with michael and he was good and honest about things saying he understood if I wanted to go elsewhere as we both knew I wouldn't be playing much once the mid weeks were over and it was one game a week. To be fair I hardly played in the mid weeks either. We both had a good honest chat about it and gave me his blessing then, I'm sure he'd tell you that himself. I hung around the extra month at first to help out through the mid weeks and then with both Brett and gavin injured an extra few weeks to cover. It's not about helping the team out, it's about getting fit. I still have a stone to lose and I won't lose it not playing. First and foremost no one, especially new players at the club, has any right to critise me for my effort as I love Broadway Celtic and I always will, I'm just not good enough to play for them. Can anybody honestly tell me they think I'm good enough for Broadway?? Bucky?? I think we all know the answer here!!! I love the club and it's been a seriously hard thing to do. I think anyone with an ounce of wit knows this. And Clown, relax on the attempted wind ups, I have all of your 18 text messages today asking me to go to Northend so don't let on you don't know the craic. |

agree with some of the comments fish but callin me a arsehole for posting this is very 2 faced imo as u r usually the 1st on here gossiping about the going ons at other clubs so catch a grip!!!! And yes i would love u at northend and ud wld get the games u thrive but why head to michelin and wait about for games when u cld walk onto our team?  ? |

Look mate, please don't get me wrong, I really appreciate anyone telling me they'd like me to sign and when someone shows that kind of interest I feel ignorant saying no but I really can't play in the 1st Division right now, I'm wrecked and sore as after every effort. Hopefully I can get back to a decent level again fitness wise but right now it's a total waste of time bluffing in a division I'm not fit for. That's all it is!!

Ye have to work hard to get to the first but a lot harder to stay in it. That applies to players individually as well as teams. Thanks though, if that's where I go, good luck catching me!! ;D ;D |
