Donko do you boys still play on the wee pitch at the rugby ground?
Hows it held up with the weather recently?

It seems this match has been postponed due to Junior Shield replay this Saturday. Are the other Shield fixtures that were called off last weekend being played this Saturday as well?

The only thing that will put any game off this week will be a frozen pitch i would say, with hardly any rain in a month.

A hard-fought first half saw Shore take a 3 -2 lead into the break after coming back from two goals down. The second half was a more one-sided affair with Michelin on top from the start and gaining an early equaliser. Michelin went on to score a further four goals and earn a valuable win. Despite Shore dropping their heads when conceding in the second half, the old boy on the Shore sideline with the can of Carlsberg kept the faith to the very end.

Its not very often I can say I actually changed a game (well in a good way) but me obvioulsy having to come off today gave us a lift and hepled us put on a top class 2nd half performance ;D Feel sorry for Shore having to play on that pitch for the rest of the season, its shocking. Defintely when they played us at the MAC on the big pitch, they looked a far better team, we were lucky to get a point and after playing all the big teams this year, still based on their performance, they were by far the best team we have played. Whats happended to Phillp Sheridan, did he have a meeting at greyhounds today, cause by feck he is quick!

Gone to Oz I hear, big loss for Shore.
Was surprised to hear this result, but I have no doubt that Shore have enough quality to continue their good run in the league

Terrible pitch alright. Bad enough having one match a season as an away team but having it as your home pitch would be awful. Is it just a temporary pitch for Shore until they find something else? Funny enough Mitts, Andy didn't really have to make a save in the second half. Maybe Shore fancied their chances more in the first half!! ;D Only joking, pal!!!

Unfortunatley Philly moved to Australia on Thursday - big loss for Shore, think he could have played for any team in the league, and maybe even higher.
We Were awful in the second half today, just lost our heads when Michelin equalised. Cant give away silly free kicks and corners when Froggy is against you. A few boys missing today with flu and injuries but absolutely no excuse for our 2nd half performance.
We have been trying not to play on our pitch for the last while, have even been trying to play "home" mathes away, its in dire need of a few months attention, but it doesnt look like its going to get it at this stage of the season. If there had been any rain before kick-off we would have to have called the match off.
