A good performance by Shore although its hard to tell if we were really good or they were really bad. Honestly could have scored double the goals we did get.
Shore opened the scroing after 15 minutes when John Floyd Capitalised on weak clearance to drive the ball past the keeper from 20 yards. Shore the went 2-0 up when Aaron Scotts cross was turned into the net by an Interstar defender. Shore went 3-0 up when Philly Sheridan burst clear of the defence and blasted past the keeper. Shore then brough the first half a close with their fourth when a Stephen Bann corner was headed home by Willy Brown.
The 2nd half started slowly for Shore before Barry Graham beat 3 people on a run down the left wing before firing past the keeper. Shore were soon 6 up when Philly Sheridan played in Sean Gillen who fired past the oncoming keeper. The 7th goal came from a John Floyd drive into the bottom corner from the edge of the penalty area. Goal number 8 came from a Stepehn Bann chip over the keeper from 20 yards. FC interstars then were awardeda penalty which was saved by Chris Wheatley in teh Shore goal, before they scored a free kick with 10 minutes to go to make it 8-1. Kevin Downey wrapped up the goals with a cross/shot which lobbed over the keeper.
Not a bad day at the office!!!
Shore scorers:-
John Floyd (2) Philly Sheridan Willie Brown Barry Graham Sean Gillen Stephen Bann Kevin Downey OG

Inter were a shadow of the team we played last year but apparently they had 7 boys on holiday which should strengthen their team.
We've only played 2 matches on "primary school pitch" this season against 2 of the fancied teams, scored 12 and conceeded 1 so if it's not broke then dont fix it.
PS - check out the portable subs bench Inter bring to their matches!!!!

Fook awesome result, "holidays" getting the green cards then?? lol Is Inter not full of foreign bodies?? I heard a wee whisper. LMAO portable subs bench flip that pretty good. Could do with that every game this year, Pugsta could insript his name on the bench as that is where he is staying this year lmao.
