A good match for the spectators I would guess. Shore got off the mark with Phil Sheridan only to see Michelin equalise with a great cross and neat finish. Phil came up with the goods again with a composed finish as Shore applied more pressure and Willy Brown added a great individual goal to make it 3-1 at half time. Michelin came out strong in 2nd half and Shore had a few chances to steal a goal on counter-attacks but with less than 5 mins to go we conceeded twice through corners. It felt like 2 points dropped at end of the match but Michelin are a good footballing side and upon reflection this wasn't a bad result away from home.

Good result for Shore, you wont play too many better footballing sides than Michelin in Div2!

yeah two decent sides who should be challenging for promotion at end of season!! big froggy a handful michelin, and the pace of sheridan for shore will be a danger 2 all teams!!
said the nite we played shore that they would do well in the second!!

Was a good game, and even though we scored twice late on, think a draw was a fair result.
We started off pretty well in the 1st 10mins, then as per usual gave away a stupid goal, we equalised soon after, then some more bad defending and to be fair good play from Shore, left in 3-1 at half time.
2nd half we dominated and had plenty of possession, and probably should of scored a few more goals than we did, think we had 2 cleared off the line and your keeper pulled off a couple decent saves, though in saying that Shore looked dangerous on the counter attack's.
Shore are a very decent team, Willie Brown pull's the strings for them in the middle of the pitch and the boys up front are quick and casued us alot of problems.
If we could only play as well in a full match rather than the last 45 mins of each game we would have at least doubke the points we have. Still, a long way to go yet in the season.

thought u kept them in the game in second half mitty, cos they caught use on the break a few times with the pace of their front man sheridan!!
definitely think that the two of use should make at least the play offs from what i have seen!!

Aye yer man Sheridan was quick as f**k, caused us all kinds of trouble! Was glad I was able to pull off a couple saves to keep us in it cause I have been sh!te so far this season! Think any one of up to as much as 6 teams can get automatic promotion this year. |
