just got the text from stan there lads, the gaff has gave his all to the club and has officially quit as he is not enjoying it anymore, training is off tonight and if we cant get a new man to take charge we will have to fold

Thought this would have happened tbh. I always got the impression it was more of a brave face on here when s**t started hitting the fan.
The man put in serious effort for that club and I hope all the lads will give him the respect and understanding he needs and deserves in light of this obviously very hard decision!!

I have to say i really feel for Stan the bigman gave his all but i think him being too nice some of his players took advantage of this and messed him about.
Stan i hope you bounce back from this at the end of the day its only football.

I hope this isnt true and the big man maybe just needs a break.
Stan puts his heart and soul into the club and is not only respected at the club, but by the majority of other managers / players in the league.
Hopefully the club can sort this out and get going again!!

yeah it is unfortunately true, the big man done everything for the club he was putting alot of his own money in the club, and he personally helped me out alot. i dont know whats going to happen from here, the match against penoral has been cancelled.

Let the battle commence im sure there's quite a few teams out there with there eyes on some of the swifts players but as we have seen at our club after a rocky start we have started to turn a corner and folding isnt the answer but dig in lads and heads up!!!!

would just like to think big stan for signin me last season for the swifts after things turn sour for me at wakehurst and even no we were friends before that the big man made the effort to get me on a form and this season made me club captain after weasel left.never seen a man that loved the game as much and was a swifts man threw and threw but he cant be expected to pay money out of his own pocket  .dont no wat will happen now as its a big ask for someone to come in now and lift us....stan take care pal and now you can spend some time with the family and like pele said its only football mate |

your right kirky i have been there since stan returned to management and from day one he put his heart and soul into the club, wish him the best, nice fella and time for a well earned break.

2many ungreatful players at the 1club ,, stan had 2 pay his own cash 2 keep the club goin ...
2many boys never played way pride ...
every game u play , u should treat it as ur last ever game ...and give everything ...
hope sum1 takes the swifts on .....
