he worked hard, but there wasnt much quality bar his handball to control his chance to get their keeper sent off. Trapp is awesome.. hes got the best out of an average bunch of players IMO..has a game plan and sticks with it. who is to argue with a man with a C.V like this... Managerial honours Juventus Italian League (6): 1976–77, 1977–78, 1980–81, 1981–82, 1983–84, 1985–86 Italian Cup (2): 1978–79, 1982–83 European Cup (1): 1984–85 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (1): 1984 UEFA Cup (2): 1977, 1993 European Super Cup (1): 1984 Intercontinental Cup (1): 1985 Internazionale Italian League (1): 1988–89 UEFA Cup (1): 1991 Bayern Munich German League (1): 1996–97 German Cup (1): 1997–98 German League Cup (1): 1996–97 Benfica Portuguese League (1): 2004–05 Red Bull Salzburg Austrian League (1): 2006–07 Ireland Nations Cup (1): 2011 What a CV. And to think he could be let go next month FAI need to get the finger out....

Not to concerned with Doyle being out for the 1st leg, he,s been poor this campaign and seems uninterested at times and only bagged us 2 goals against Andorra. Walters and Long are in gr8 form in the Premiership so i dont think it a massive gamble if it is them up top. Would love Estonia, they must be the only team ever to get beat by the Faroe Islands and still have a chance to qualify

But as said, if we were to go with Walters and long id be happy enough. Estonia would be our best bet, the other 3 teams will be a huge ask i think.

I think it's a tough draw. Any team who takes 6 points off Northern Ireland in qualifying deserve to be treated with respect

Agree with lenny if we cant beat a team who got beat 2-0 by the faroe island and needed 2 injury time goals to beat them 2-1 in the reverse fixture then we dont belong with europe's elite in the euro's
But Ukraine/poland the green army are coming ole ole ole ole..........................

Have been on the fai website seeing about tickets, but as per usual the fai are slow as feck I'm sure they will be expecting a big turnout for this game. Maybe the tickets will be given out to people from that country before even considering other countries.

England are up to seventh in the latest Fifa world rankings. Wales 45th. The Republic of Ireland are 25th, Scotland are 51st while Northern Ireland drop 14 places to 84th...........Just another reason why worthington had to go. Northern ireland were ranked 32nd in the world when he took over.

Have to say Trapp has done a great job getting the ROI to 25th in the world which is a great achievment for a country of their size.

Republic of Ireland is a state in Europe which was partitioned in 1921.It shares its only land border with Northern Ireland, a part of the United Kingdom. The it is otherwise surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with the Celtic Sea to the south, St George's Channel to the south east, and the Irish Sea to the east. In 1801, the kingdoms of Ireland and Great Britain merged to form the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. The majority of the island seceded the United Kingdom in 1922 following a guerrilla war. The Anglo-Irish Treaty concluded this war and established the Irish Free State as a self-governing dominion within the British Commonwealth. Northern Ireland chose to remain as part of the United Kingdom.

Think I'm just going to adopt a country for the euros just as you have rubberd!ck. it will prob be England as they are the only British team in the competition.
Also rubberd!ck it must be pretty sh!t having to change currency to go and watch your "home" games.
