just watching james beattie excited at signing for rangers.he will do well but hes 32 and there 1st signing in 2 yrs since edu.rangers are in decline over the yrs ,celtic 2.i think we can all except it.durrant super ally gazza laudrup.them players made u jump on the boat.celtic havent the same type of players either anymore.is it just me or would u focus more on yer english team(if ya have 1)or is gers/celtic yer num1 priorty.i will admit i love an old firm a final or a euopean nite.but the truth is its only going to get worse unless they join the english premier.my hearts way villa.i will admit gers is my 2nd team.i def follow villa more.any1 agree /disagree there not there num 1 priorty anymore

carew m8 to tell the truth its fans like u who make goin to watch celtic or rangers play now weather its hearts hibs or dundee very boring as i can just about remember as smith was about to complete his 9 in a row celtic park was still thriving with atmosphere and passion i myself follow 1 team "over and over"  and all i can say is bring back the jungle and ur not a true gers fan and ive a feeling u wear a rangers top just to fit in tut tut carew |

like i say i like many am a 2 team man but to be honest i just wear the top to fit then.lol.naw used to be a stronger supporter just think as scottish football has got weaker over the yrs.the teams are less exciting to watch ive swayed towards villa more.still support rangers but if there playing st mirren on sky and villa are playing man utd i know who i am watching.prob because villa used to be boring and now there excited and vice versa 4 rangers.i tell u wot there aint many on the forums dont have 2 teams and 1 has to be there fav.so was just wondering wot the majority thought.gives an idea how scottish football my be sliding away in my eyes and needs that move to the english premier.cant see it happen though.we all have our own thoughts.lotta folks wont answer cos there scared there not a true bhoy or ger.if u support man and say celtic or liverpool and rangers .u cant follow them equal.i couldnt give a s**t about the irish lge dont have a team in it.just alot of folk on here say go on chelsea but are a celtic supporter or gers.wanted to know who there num 1 was................simple

I could answer that honestly or lie U have a great club with a super ground and a tradition of playing footie the right way but if you arnt in the running come Christmas time I fear yous ,like other clubs,will balance the books and sell your better players to restructure for the next season mate. Its what happens when the going gets tough. |

I reckon the fans have never really taken to Pards but who else is out there to do a better job mate? Yeah bit of a shock that death in midweek and do hope he had good advisors or trusts set up to continue the investment in the club.

I used to enjoy the old firm but am totally sick of the fact that the clubs can't get away from the politics and sectarianism. Not matter how hard the club tries there are always going to be a group of fans on both sides who drag them down.
Football should about football and leave the political pish out.
As far as football is concerned there have been periods over the last 10-15 years where both of the old firm have played some good stuff but now they are both poor as demonstrated by Celtic in the champions league recently and i'd imagine that rangers will go the same way when they enter.

Good thread imo.
Over the years i've had this arguement with most my mates and have to say i was always the minority. I am a celtic man. I enjoy watching the big games in europe. Really looking forward to Liverpool v arsenal tomorrow, simply because i love football. Though i only support one club, celtic!

Also, i agree that scottish football is seriously on the road to ruin but that's where my club is. As it says in the song 'faithful through and through'. In saying that is just my opinion. I certainly don't go over every other week like we used to. Being a home owner soon stops that, but i honestly understand why some of the hardcore support who have spent money, week after week, to be treated to that have started turning their backs on it. It's easy saying faithful through and through when im watching them on tv. Espn is expensive mind you! Haha.
