Well done lads great win against a top 4 team and i for 1 expected a hard season for use after losing a few key players but well done great to see and keep it up!!!!!

Woulnd't be much point in any team competing if you didn't aim for Top 4! But as I say it we won't be getting carried away over the sake of 1 result, same as I'm sure Abbeyview won't be too worried about last nights defeat! Both teams played majority of the game with 10 men & with the size of our pitch there will def be some sore legs today!
Abbeyview played their normal good passing game but just never managed to click in the final 3rd of the pitch on this occassion. They are superb to watch though when on song.
Few new faces in / old ones returned but none were on show last night + Cushendall boys about to start their championship so be a wee while yet before we are at full steam!

Sore legs today + all the boys have a hurling match tonight = tired team tomorrow against a fresh team (with no pre season friendlies)......!
Pitch grand at the minute just make the most of it as it will be back to its usually boggy self come winter! Grass needs cut again though so trying to sort it out for tomorrow night.

good match last night with few chances for both sides. carnlough manage to take a couple of theres, we just didnt click going forward but at least it was cup match. think the ref couldve booked both players and played away as its something that probably happens in most games. Carnlough are a very young team with a few very good ball players. good luck for the season.

Cheers Harty. Seen us play better & lose to be honest. We have a good few players still to come in but the young bucks that are there at the minute are doing rightly! You boys missed at least 2 sitters at 2/3 nil which could have easily changed the game though.
