Wakehurst Users group mate. You guys are playing there tonight, northend played cushendall in a friendly there last week, lisnafillan played seven towers as well, what you find is that the worse pitches in Ballymena get used the most with the best being used the least! maddness The council pump £4,500,000 into the Ballymena Showgrounds in the 8 years since they comissioned an engineer to draw up the 'wakehurst pitches condition report 2002' where their engineer quotes £65,000 to sort the drainage out at wakehurst. It is not just Harryville teams that use wakehurst, everyone does. Those who have the pitches at wakehurst as their home pitch and those who use the muga for training were the ones involved in the protest, everyone is welcome, everyone uses them! it is in everyones interest that they are sorted out

Rab i 100% totally agree its just we never heard and im sure most teams from the top of the town never heard either.

The facilities are disgraceful in some places and the council just dont give a f**k!

That is correct as far as i'm aware, we have taken Carniny, Sky blues, glencloy that i can remember to extra time but today was the first victory over a 1st Div club. Long overdue.

Ref wasnt too blame, we were just shocking all over today & had no legs. for majority of the team it was their 5th game in 6 days and no matter how fit ye are something has to give. was only the cup so we didn't mind too much but good luck to Westend.

I thought the ref was awful as well, he definately wasn't wearing a Westend top, he gave Westend as many bad decisions as he gave carnlough, he was terrible i thought. we Did really well for a team who played 4 games (1 with extra time) in a week and with players missing
