Cant believe this hasn't been mentioned. Well done to ex Clough Rangers player Denver Gage, in getting his dream move to Ballymena. The big man will do the business for the sky blues. He deserves his chance. Good luck Gagey.  |

Yes great to see him getting a chance and prob what Ballymena have been lacking someone playing for the shirt for a change.
I cant say i have seen Denver play but i have heard all good things about him.
I hope he has a great season and locks down his starting place.

Aye Mo came on a sub Lenny. I mind Harryhill going in for a 50/50 with Denver for us a few years back and they both hit it that hard Orrsy ended up doing a summersault and landing on his arse as a result of the tackle  |

Mo got last 40 mins, played rightly and didn't look out of place. Didn't get much of a chance to shine as Ballymena were up against it for long periods.
Gagey came on last 10 minutes when Eammon Murray got injured. Bmena had to reshuffle a bit. The Blues started to knock it long and big Gagey headed everything away.
great to see the locals doing well.

Big Denver is already a legend at Ballymena after one game. He's even got a nickname already - Disco, because of all the john travolta moves when issuing instructions to everyone else.
A Ballymena team-mate and a Linfield player tangled and the Linfield player squared up, then big Denver came over, stood in front of the Linfield player and that was the end of that.
Denver done some slapping at Peter Thompson off the ball. Good to see Ballymena giving Linfield some back for a change.

They are hardly real supporters then are they  Ballymena on the same points as scumfield and yesterday had to be a blip!but it you sit at some of them games ud think ballymena are world beaters n the fans are so fickle its sad!! Good luck big D and keep ur head down!! |
