every manager should be approaching several players for an incoming season, thats how you improve from one season to the next, teams arent gonna be happy, but thats football, jesus i even tried to get pele to sign this year, next thing i know he is managing a team ;-)

chick is a registered player with us, and im not sure what the ruling is, but i think it would appear that he has to stay for a period of no shorter than 28 days from the start of the league before he can be transfered to another team, so we have a month to convince him to stay at the saints. this could all be a lot of balls though and he is free to leave whenever he wants lol, as you say though, its a massive loss for a mid table team, relegation battle may ensue!!!
