Lisnafillan used to play in Portglenone anyway although under a different manager. I think Lisnafillan swifts should change their name to Lisnafillan wild ducks or Lisnafillan water hens or even or Lisnafillan dial a pitch ;D, make the locals feel they are not outsiders coming in using their facilities

You know yourself that if you go for a player then everyone hears thats they are available and then the Div 2 teams etc come looking them and because we are 3rd div then they think they are too good for our div so we can go to Portglenone and attract young footballers from that area. I know where you coming from mate. Keep any potential signings names away from Pele and Goram, they already have enough players signed between them to compete in a 12 team division themselves ;D ;D now now mitty , until they are all signed , they arent thistle men yet .. 16 at the muga the other nite ... 4new faces ... 3 have signed ... this new galgorm fc team must have approached at least ten of my players ;D they got 2 signed players from last year ....tho they have 2 get in 2 the league first

The squad at that time didnt like playing in portglenone as they felt it was too far away for them to travel so when Galgorm came up they wanted to go there. Now that we are out in Portglenone we want to encourage the local community to come out and support the only team in the village as the afternoon team have folded. Already this week we have 3 players who come from the village and hopefully the village takes us to their hearts. Hope the locals at the town who cant get a decent pitch appreciate Westend getting a showgrounds pitch lol

Lisnafillan Cranes is another good one lol. Westend are playing at Wakehurst next season as it currently stands, 10 wins out of 10 down there, it would be madness for the league to move us, but so be it if they do

We had to play a home game at Rasharkin cause there were not enough pitches at wakehurst The pitches are in bad nick, the BBC needs to sort it out
