on a personal note i was with broadway celtic in which we accumulated the clubs highest ever finish since its re-formation , i was part of the club staff there , we had a very small playing selection and our great offorts was down to managment from my self and michael maybin who indeed was player manager , however i re itterate that melvyn would be the manger of the team , not me , he has managed the club for 2yrs long before any of the current players wer out of nappies

I have to say though to any interested carniny eyes looking in, Sherman is very astute when it comes to the tactical side of the beautiful game and would certainly do no harm interviewing him! |

in relation to tht season i fondly remember , we at broadway celtic had the determination and the will power to provide a much sterner game to the then champions that was carniny rgs than they had recived of higher placed teams , this was through sheer grit and determinaion which is very much part of any teams will power to get the points at the end of the day , i csan say i was there to the very end of the season alongside michael who i can only say is quite easily for me the best player in the league since my brother melvyn , and yes i would like to declare that the finishibg 5th was all down to me , as i was the clinical advisor and footballing director to michael at the time , lol,

Played for Carniny at the time Meli was in charge and have to say every player knew what was expected of them when they went on the pitch. Not one to rant and rave but through the respect of which he earned everyone listened when he spoke. Think he would do another great job at Carniny.

must say jaysee i think its time what im saying was taken serious , maybe this explains the sort of niche im actually talking about here , we are talking about a living carniny rgs legend , he captained the greateast team who ever played in the history of the lge , and no one knows this more than myself , he played with the old carniny greats , he is held in extreemly high esteem , he is the rightful air to keep the engine room full of oil and all the passion and emotion that is needed to keep the boat pwering down the river at the speed of knots it richly deserves , i for one as an ex carniny player really cant even understand for one minute as to why they arnt at him , im saying it here and now with the greatest of respect , setting all aside , meli and myself will win the lge this year , and even next yr with the passion , and with the belif in our very own ability to provide the right and very correct approach to managment of the great great club that is carniny rgs fc , plain and simple as that , anyone who wishes to ask questions or contest this statement please feel free to fire away .

he thinks the fact that i stood up for myself against someone who started on me , that i done the right thing , infact he states he would have clashed me if i hadnt , however that is not whats on the table here , shame on you to raise such an amtuer effort to raise the eye brow , i done the right thing , and i still stand by it .

very fair comment dowie , however i feel that the posotion of manager is that of a person who gains the silence of the changing room and of the sort of person people namely the players can look up to , i feel meli fits the bill , and it would regain the old ropes so to say and keep the whole bandwagon going , with respect to looking elswhere , all very well , but to refuse an option such as is not really a thing that ye just pass by , just an opinion

with respect dowie , i defended myself , i never started the shouting , and by the way i am not in contention for any posotion in the club , lol, however if meli was asked to manage the club and sais yes , if he asked me to give my natural expertise on the game in a right hand man situation , i really doubt wether you or anyone in the club would really be able to do anything about it , too many cooks spiol the broth , one manager , one decision maker m8

firstly on your stating that the club people who were annoyed by my standing up for myself , over 1000 people heard and seen dobbie shout at me from the sideline , i returned quickly , i done the right thing , those who dont understand that i verbally defended my self , are under there own disalussion .
