This sat we travel down to larne 2 play stcomgalls , tough game for us again . few weeks ago we shared the points. realy great battle, stcomgalls missing 3 players due 2 bans .... hope 2 have chris marks, stewarty henry, hammy and christoper montgomery all back this sat  com on the wee thistle  |

we will take a day like that in larne 2mara , .. i was heading back 2 work around 11am, an saw one of the players heading in 2 the pub ,,  he will have 2 bring a sunlounger with him 2mara ;D hope we can bring 3points up the road way us 2mara . |

St Comgalls 2 - 2 Ahoghill ThistleThistle got off to the worst possible start in the game as early pressure from the home side paid off. Playing into the wind is never easy, and St Comgalls made us pay with two early goals. Their first goal came from a great corner and header into the bottom corner of the net, and their second was scrappy with the ball bouncing around the 6 yard box, their forward slotted the ball into the bottom corner. They continued to use the wind to their advantage, but Thistle settled and gradually played their way back into the game. Chances came at both ends but a half time it was 2-0 to the home team. Thistle then came out firing in the second half, with the wind behind them, and got the early goal their play deserved. A great ball into the box from the right was met by Duffy at the back post who ran down the line like a cheetah to get there, he half-volleyed the ball across goal and Philip Dickey was on hand to fire the ball into the roof of the net. After pushing for the equaliser, an inspired substitution by the manager paid off when Ritchaldo came on for the injured Jonny Spence, and found the net within minutes. A long ball caught the home teams back line napping, and Ritchaldo found himself with the ball at the bye-line, and with the keeper and defenders expecting a low cross, he superbly dummied them all and smashed the ball in at the near post ;D Ten minutes later, wee Monty found himself 25 yards out and with the ball dropping out of the sky, he fired a rasping volley goalbound, almost Beckham like against Man Utd recently, but unfortunately it was down the middle of the goal and the keeper made a fantastic save. Thistle continued to go for the winner, and St Comgalls tried their hand on the break, but in the end both teams had to settle for a point. Probably a fair result with the game being played in difficult winds. All the best to St Comgalls for the rest of their season

ritchaldo for the sunday life... great bit of reporting ;D 2all draw 2day was fair .. great return goal for u ... cnt believe montys strike never went in .... wat a volley all the best 2 st comgalls , teams will find it tough down at the bay . |

after the game 2day , all the stcomgalls players went straight 2 the changing rooms ... i like my players 2 shake hands after the game with the opponents ..... v rude wat they done . i tink it was lawnmoverman that i shook hands with . ... its nice 2 b nice .... |
