Holy fek! What's going on here!? Just dropped in to see how my Swifts are doing and I stumble on WW3.
What's the beef with the Westlife boys doing all this stirring (and especially you Rab! Did you buy yourself a new spoon?).
Is that wee Scotty "Cheeeese Burrrrggerrrr" Douglas? (oops! Drummond) What the hell you doing in the third!? You still as greedy as you were at school? Remember Bashford wouldn't let you on the pitch incase you tried to go home with the ball ;-)
Surely you aren't trying mind games at this level of the game??? Doesn't really work like that... leave that to the pro's.
Are you still fighting with your own team as much as you are with the mud slinging here? Heard you were at someone's throat after a game (didn't believe it was you, but it seems you really are playing for these boys). When did you get all.... manly? And who was the midget you were bullying? ;-D
Ah well, good luck to you all. Just remember, winning is great, but winning as a team is better.

I don't know why he has it in for the swifts. When I hear people talking about his early days they always say he was a greedy heur , he'd never pass but to be honest I don't see that in him now. He is on the verge of breaking micky kings record of The amount of times he can nutmegg me in training the ballbag |

Lol at swifts bike big trev is away to penerol, that's pretty much the old Lisnafillan replaced. A new era has come, flying high in the playoff spots and I fancy them to go up beating cullybacky to it and then we can play each other next season again |

Well I know Big Stan would be delighted with that because he would be a year ahead of schedule!
This year was always gonna be one of transition and although Stan would have loved to keep Trev (and he was building his team around him), it says a lot for the big man having the decency to let him move on with his blessing. It really was a curve ball for the gaffer at a crucial time of the season but he had to regroup quickly and the league play-offs have been secured.
Like myself he never chases after anyone... either you want to play for a club or you don't.
This is really Stan's first year with "his" squad and I know he sees it as a long term project. This year is all about stability and forming a good foundation on which to build for the seasons to come. He seems to be getting a strong, loyal and, most importantly, united group of lads around him.

Lisnafillan, I love this club even thou I’m off the web site lol. I went to the first training morning at Galgorm and from there I’ve played over 200 games and had never even through of signing for anyone else each year. I don’t believe anyone can say that I didn’t want to play for the club.
The reason I left (if anyone cares) was, lisnafillan have only 5 games at most left and the near impossible challenge of avoiding relegation with 15 odd game appealed to me. The lads that I played with for the last 5-6 years had left, (was good seeing Simon and kingo yesterday). The new lads are a great bunch, some good quality players and huge characters; however they are younger with not the same interests. For example lads, you said I missed a good club night at the sportsbowl, lol, and laughed when I said I couldn’t make it because I was away for the weekend with my wife and child.
Anyway, enjoy the rest of the season and you will progress.

wow, that's a lot of time off mafia wars Paul! Sure you can afford to take that much time off? Anyway, in trying to alleviate some boredom I may have wound a few of the boys up on here, everyone seems to take it all too seriously so probably better to not bother any more, getting bored with it too, maybe get back on an have a bit of "banter" nearer to the big league clash.

Thanks Rab!, at last, a non derogatory/threatening comment! Not bad for a holding midfield player eh? Maybe Watson would contest the "holding" comment . Too many shoulder charges Paul, bound to take it's toll sooner or later, that's what happens to no-nonsense defenders, they end up playing facebook games cos they are wrecked so young. Defo my last season, though I've said that before. I just love playing, but sooner or later it has to end and I'd rather it wasn't with a broken leg (or jaw perhaps!). It would be nice to go out with a medal, something I've never achieved before! |
