ive been thinking about this issue for a while and id like to hear some thoughts apart from my own and the demons...when it comes to takeaways i stick to the holy trinity of maureens, double happiness and dominos...some may say this is because ive had access to free, discounted and special offers from these but ive wondered is your choice of hot food joint mainly influenced by what part of the town your from? i would never think of going to jade house or eatsville, but would anyone else cross the town centre divide for a scran? and what are the towns best scraneries...nice and spicy anyone? aye, get me a madrat with pigeon rice...

....My vote has went to the oriental fraternity on this and mainly due to the chicken curry and fried rice ye get from Double Happiness. Must be the best scran about.
On the divide question, I have found myself wondering between Bhop and Pappas recently (not commonly known to the locals lol) and found the hospitality reasonable. The scran aint half bad either....

I thought papas would be the exception...ballymena has more fast food outlets per head than anywhere else in europe...I'd be interested to hear what the village takeaways are like...
