Was a decent game in crap conditions, pitch was in great nick considering the amount of rain over last two weeks, didn't even cut up or anything. We were down to the bare bones the day, only one sub and about 3-4 players on the pitch carrying injuries, so a big win for us today. Heard the Michelin boys celebrating Seven Towers taking the lead, think that rattled a few of us and got us going again. Few meaty challenges but thought the ref had a decent game. Great goals from Mariott and Sandsy

i dont know where this whole 'celebration thing came from! If anything it suited us better that you boys won! I think i clapped at the 3rd towers goal that was it, dont think any of the other boys even said a word. I didnt 'celebrate' the connor goals cause i couldnt believe you scored two in last 10mins cause they came from nowhere! But fair do's, if thats what helps you win a game then go for it. I thought getting 3 points over a title challanger would have been a big enough incentive! |

hey great game yesterday 4 connor and seven towers in tuff weather. dont know who thought we were cheering for towers!!! we were just down to watch another two big teams having a go at it. if anything a connor win was better 4 us but hey its early days yet with lots of footie to be played.
